PhuseBox Update

So, because I was sloppy when I first programmed PhuseBox, I am starting to see the need for me to rebuild it from the ground up.
This will be a huge undertaking, especially with everything else I have going on right now in my life, but I think it is vital to get this done so I can move PhuseBox to a greater audience.
All this being said, soon (though I do not know how soon), PhuseBox will be completely revamped with new features and maybe a new layout?
Some of the things that I am thinking about adding are the abililty to sync with your Xanga account and advance photo features (such as albums, event pages, etc)...
My vision for this site is to have a place for people to speak their mind, share ideas, share photos, find people similar to them, link between stories/photos, be able to define groups, etc.
When PhuseBox is ready to publically launch (we are still in beta), everything throughout the site will be completely integrated with everything else.
Let me know what you think of the site right now, what you would change, what you like, etc...

hey nathan! one thing i'd like is to be able to see previous thing's on people's sites...like when i click on friends @ the top & read everyone's blogs, when i get to the bottom of the page i can't go to previous ones to see ones i may have missed since i was last logged on...thanks! ttyl! keep up the awesome work on here & for the Lord!

Well personally I like the way it is right now, but I know your creative mind can come up with other great ideas! I've never liked the Google ads and adverts though, and twice I've had some random pic show up in my photo box that didn't belong to me. Anyhow, but I like most everything, so keep up the good work! Oh yes, and what Amy B. said up there about the friends' page. I like that idea as well.

I love phusebox so far. I actually like it a lot more than myspace or livejournal (even without all the personalization stuff). What I think would be good is the ability to make groups private.

yeah its just one album! i have one called "cheerleading camp" & i want it to just say "cheerleading".. if you dont mind changing it for me that'd be great! thank you sooo much nathan! this is a great thing you've got going on here

how? well i've been a part of this all for what a day? it looks nice. i am clueless about anything, i'm just now getting the hang of my xanga site and i've had it for like 2 years so this is pretty simple compared to that!

looks like your a pretty busy guy but is there a way to turn a pic that is not in .jpg format in to a jpg cause i have some pics id like to post and there in .btm so id love to know how to change it if you get the time thanks a lot

Blue Merle?! Who on earth has heard of Blue Merle? I saw them open for Train two or three years ago. Crazy.
It was back when the lead singer had the long, curly hair. I have pictures. Scary.

Why thank you! Once upon a time, I did web design for the Philosophy & Religion department at the college I was attending, (Bridgewater College) but I had forgotten quite a bit.
I'll confess..I don't recall liking Blue Merle much when I saw them, though perhaps they're better now? ;-) The group after them was pretty good, though. I think they were called Fiction Plane or some such thing. Leader singer is Sting's son? I forget. Like I said, 2-3 years ago, and my memory leaves much to be desired.
Anyway, you're added on my Friend list. (along with the 200-some already befriended. I feel very special.) Have a good one!

Oh, and just a friendly suggestion...the ability to use HTML commands in comments would be awesome. :-) Especially for those like me who tend to type a lot.

the one thing i always loved about xanga was that i could change so many of the little things.....like font, colors, background pictures...it's really fun to customize the way your site looks. so i would suggest some customization features. : )

so, i really like how on facebook, you get a notification when someone's birthday is coming up. not really a necessity, but it's super handy. and makes it a little easier to be a good friend ;) i don't need one for your birthday tho. psh. no way. i know it by heart for sure
