Defintes

April 21 2006
Okay, so I've got some definite things about to be happening, and other things I'm not so sure will be happening, and they're all starting to get on my nerves.

Definite: I'm going to lose a $5000/yr. scholarship after this semester.

Indefinite: I was playing with numbers last night and found that it would be possible to make that money up in work-study, but it would require approximately 12 hours of work every Saturday mixed with 24 hours during the week for 14 weeks on top of a 17-hour schedule.

Definite: I'm researching right now on how to create a mythical, mystical demo tape to send to a few recording companies (all Christian labels, mind you, but they do exist).

Indefinite: After finally viewing American Idol away from a psycho ex-girlfriend, I think I may like to audition next time it comes around where I am.  The only problems I would have with it are that I am going to be working all summer and having the school situation described above /|.  But, yeah, I'd love to try.

Definite: I will be returning to Tech next year.

Indefinite: My parents will provide their blessing, financial assistance, or anything else.

*sigh*

Back to Cookeville

April 17 2006
I made it back in one piece, albeit a sickly one.  I'm not sure what happened...probably the cigars mixed with greasy food and an open-window drive makes for a poopy-feeling fool.  Ah, well...that's the way it goes...

Memphis...it is the best of places, it is the worst of places...

April 15 2006
Okay, so I made the 4-hour trip today from Cookeville to Cordova, the small bit of Shelby County that is still unincorporated by Memphis.  Things have been going well so far.  Naturally, that's all going to change tomorrow as we go to my dad's family's celebration of the Easter holiday.  I'm going to be in mental agony for the day as I deal with idiotic cousins, spoiled brat aunts and uncles, and an out-of-touch step-grandfather.  They're the kind of people that make me appreciate the morons of the world for their intelligence and coherent thought.  It is seriously that bad...my mental powers fade faster at these gatherings than while watching From Justin to Kelly (this, as you should know, was the movie that dropped my IQ score by upwards of 90 points).  Bleh.

I can't believe I just did this

I always do the same bloody thing.  New blog-site, must join.  Even though there are only two people on here who will read what I post, and I see them nearly every day...

Though, I do suppose it'll be a nice way to keep up with them when they're not around as often.  Hmmm...

Yeah, so I joined a new blog-thing.  That puts me up to a total of 17 web presences overall, though I only still use 6 now (web presences being IM SN's, blogs, and websites).  Perhaps I'm just being the ideal Honors student and expanding my horizons, breaking my God-boxes, and advancing further down the esteemed Perry model.  Lord only knows I need more of all that jazz.

It's always amazed me how sometimes I can just sit down and the words just flow from my pen...er...keyboard to the screen.  I mean, typically, it would take about half an hour to write this much, but this is just one of those days when I could write anything, however long, in an ungodly amount of time.  Or, perhaps, it would be a godly amount of time, as He is most likely a decently fast typist.  As it is, He's not doing a blog - I am.  Sucks to be Him.

Now I'm kind of glad I live in the basement.  It's harder to get struck by lightning down here.
