As the title says, I got new stuff. Namely a new phone, a
shirt (currently being worn), and the best part… a book!! Don’t get me wrong,
the phone is friggin amazing, but the book is one of my favorites and I got it
for 6 bucks at Wal-Mart. Normally priced the hardback copy (which it is) runs
for almost 30. I scored a deal.

So here I am wasting time letting you guys know what
happened thus far today when I could be reading. What is wrong with me?

I mean really. How many of you have seen the Charlie Brown
movies and not noticed that this kid is totally emo? I mean my goodness,  it’s sad.

I had rather interesting weekend, but eh. It’s over and done
with.

 Robert’s little brother was over from Sunday till today, and
I have never felt so murderous. The kid was going bonkers!! He was literally bouncing
off the walls, and about to be bouncing off my fist. It was probably a good
thing he went home today.

 Not a whole lot is going on, so if anyone has any plans
please give me a call. The walls of the house are slowly shrinking in on me!!

Haha, we're both slightly sleep deprived and we just happen to have internet acess. Yeah...

So my weekend blew. But Josh had a bad weekend too so we drove around town and ranted till about 11. It felt very good. I feel better now. I'm going to go back to my mud and jello now!

I was reading one of my favorite books in 3rd today when I was suddenly hit with a realization. I've been having a few problems with multiple things at the same time and it's been very strenuous, but that book always seems to find its way into my hands when I need it most. I read a certain part and things got a little clearer and I think I got the fix I needed.

I went to the doctor yesterday, I've had a constant headache for about two weeks and they've come and gone for a couple months, last week I got landed with a serious migrane for two days. It sucked. It sucked big time.

He told me that not only were these migranes and headaches were genetic, the were what was called constricting. When certain parts of my brain don't get the right amount of oxygen they start to contract and they cause the pain. He gave me some medicine to keep them in check and I feel so good. This is the first time in two weeks I haven't had a headache, I'm a little sleepy, but that's just a side effect.

I'm heading to Jamestown after school. My cousin is graduating and we should be back sometime tommorrow. But until then I will be away from anything internet, cell phone reception, of decent TV without so much as a good movie to keep me distracted. I'm taking several batteries for my CD player and some good tunes. Wish me luck and I will try to make contact the second I'm back in cell phone range!

Seriously. I’m brilliant. I take six bucks to Wal-mart and I
come out with 2 bunches of silk calla lilies, silver spray paint, a yard of
blue ribbon, and a pack of Orbit gum.

Then I go home, take the lilies off the stems, spray paint
them silver, put them back on the stems, wrap them in the blue ribbon and
voila! Instant Mothers’ Day present.

It was great, I get back into the crafts section and the
flowers are half priced, and they have my moms’ favorite flowers. Then they
have the silver spray paint and ribbon in my moms’ favorite color. God loves
me, he really does.

Yeah, I miss dancing. It just kinda hit me out of the blue today, I think I miss the movement of it all.

So now I'm waiting for school to be over, cause Amanda-my-dear is coming over tonight. WOO! We're gonna stuff ourselves with Italian food and be girly, heck yeah.

I'm thinking I'll start something on fire, just to release my inner pyro.

for Maggie again tomorrow, I’ll have no voice left. The darn woman talks too
much.

 Reasonably uneventful weekend went to see Spiderman 3. That
movie’s a little iffy. It had a good plot (I guess) and the villains were good.
Venom was lacking his trademark Gene Simmons tongue and they tried to make The
Sandman all serious-like. Emo-Spidey (complete with dance number) was
hilarious!!

 
We had to take one of those ridiculously dumb End Of Course
exams. My intelligence was insulted beyond belief; I mean seriously who comes
up with these tests!! What are we 6^th graders, I mean really. It was
disgusting. We had 75 minutes to complete the test and I had mine done in
almost 30 minutes (it was a 60 question test). Well, at least it counts as my
final.

 
No real plans for this week, so if anybody comes up with
something, let me know.

We started reading "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" in class today and my teacher nominated me to read for Maggie. I cannot tell you just how much fun it is to yell at somebody in a Southern drawl. Who cares if I manage to get stuck talking like that for the rest of the day?

Happy Cuatro de Mayo! At least if you go to public school that is. It's slightly amusing to see the decoratons up in the rain while the salsa team dances.Yep, not much is better.

Having sucessfully completed almost one week of testing, no wait the freshmen and sophomores have been doing the testing. I've been watching movies all week, not so bad, the desks are very uncomfortable to sleep on though.

Fine Arts was amazing!! Almost half of our entries advanced, and a few of our entries won first place.

 The best part in my opinion isn't the competiotion, it's the fact that I bought some killer shoes! They were $4.99, it was tax free weekend, they were the last ones in stock, and they were in my size. Heck yes I was getting them! They absolutlely rock!

Now I'm waiting for class to get out, and am fuming slightly at the college kids that don't have school anymore. Jerks.We've got about three weeks left, not counting finals (which I have to take, stupid getting sick in January making me miss almost 2 weeks. Grrrrrr).

I hate the first few spring rains. They have a really bad habit of driving my allergies and sinuses up the wall, and always at the worst of times. Like this weekend...

Tonight was the Desert Theater for Fine Arts. The Ensemble
was alright (better than last years by a long shot), Choir was great, and the
Human video absolutely PWND!!!!!!!!! I made people cry, and I didn’t have to be
violent to do so.

 

Now I’m coming off the adrenaline rush and am rather tired.

I have that particular song stuck in my head today, it's alright until you start on the last bit. Then, not so much.

Now I'm in a borrowed classrom. It's senior week and wouldn't you just know that I'm one of 6 juniors in the class. That's alright because I'm one of 2 in my first class, then it's straight junoir classes through the rest of the day.

I finally got my hands on Spindle's End today, I read it last year and I've been wanting to read it again. Yay! For those of you that haven't read anything of Robin Mckinley, I advise you to do so now. She's amazing!

Thanks Becky... all I know is it can't be on Thursday. Chaos will reign supreme on Thursday, stupid Thursday.

I have a dentist appointment at 8:30, then salsa practice after school (we'll be in heels, eww or better yet OWW), and then I have to go straight to the church for a two hour drama practice. That's gonna suck so bad.

We had practice drama practice last night, and I'm all sorts of bruised. The carpet in the Planet Kids room is not the softest thing to land on, and neither is Kristas' knee. You just have to keep reminding yourself to sacrifice for your art. I just wish it didn't leave you so sore...

I'm hungry, maybe I'll drop by the vending machine and see if they have anythng edible. They usually do. School food can be hazardous to your health if you actually ingest it, so I basically live off sugar and Cheese-its during the day. I stuff myself silly after school when I get home, and we have leftover lasagna waiting for me in the fridge ^_^

There was a senior breakfast thing today during first period, and I'm one of two juniors in the class and the other junior was on a feild trip. So it was just me and the teacher until I went and kidnapped Leslie from her class. We sat there and takled about random and serious things for the entire class. I miss when we could do that, this year was the first time we didn't have any classes together, and last year we had lunch too. At least I see her in between almost every class. She made me choke on my drink today, and then she tried to kill me with it!
