January 12, 2007Today was definately a fun filled day. jess and I went to the greenway this morning and walked about 6 miles with a Front Porch Cafe break in between (our favorite restaurant!) then she took us to get 30 minute massages...oh it was SO wonderful! then we went back to her house to get ready for tonight. We drove to Monteagle to this cute little dinner theater called Bear Hollow. We had a delicious dinner and watched a hilarious play called Murder at the Howard Johnson's. So now I'm spending the night at her house. We're just glad we made it there and back safely! Thank you Jesus! Whoo!glasses
January 09, 2007As most of you don't know, I'm supposed to wear glasses or contacts. I have a pair of glasses I got in 8th grade but stopped wearing them partly because my dad had them in his pocket when we went on a ride at Dollywood a few years ago and they got squished, and partly because I just don't like them. I got contacts and was pretty good about wearing them, but one time when I ran out I failed to get them refilled. So now my eyes are worse and I went to the eye doctor yesterday for glasses since I can't afford contacts right now. There's too much to save up for! Luckily Jess went with me to help pick a pair that actually looked good on me. So yeah, I should be getting them friday or saturday. DON'T LAUGH AT ME OR ELSE!Merry Christmas and happy 2007
December 26, 2006I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas! Mine was a little different this year since we are in the process of moving, but it was stil a really great and definately memorable Christmas. I'm sad I didn't get to spend it with the Breaux's and I won't get to spend new year's with them either since they are in Louisianna, but that's ok. Pastor preached a good message on Sunday reflecting Christ's birth. For Christmas, I got some clothes, a coat, shoes, cds, chocolate, a devotional book, and some stuff for my car. I'd have to say that my favotite part about this Christmas was what I did for my family and what I did for Hannah and Meghan (jess and I haven't done ours yet but that will be one of my favorite things!!!). For my family, I had a limo pick us up at home. We ate dinner (Papa Johns, soda, and chocolate) in the limo while we looked at Christmas lights. then we went to church. It was GREAT! and for Hannah and Meghan, I took them to see the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe play. that was fun, too. I'm going to take Jessica to a dinner theater, and she is going to take me to a spa so we can both get 30 minute massages! I've never had a professional massage before! We also plan on eating at our favorite restaurant that day...Front Porch Cafe! Oh, I can't wait. Well, Ali is bugging me cause she wants to get on so I'd better go. Now that Christmas is over, I wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
