ARGH.
November 29 2005
Words cannot describe this day.
"ARGH!" is the only thing that even comes close.
Seventeen. I mean, SEVENTEEN. Most stores don't even carry that.
Yet all those fifteens that used to be too big? Won't go over my hips now.
*cries bitterly*
Fazoli's night was fun. I got to take my buddy Modrall with me.
I'm using this website called fitday.com to keep track of how many calories and nutrients I consume and how many calories I burn. I only really started it today, so I have yet to see if it's going to help keep me disciplined.
Holy crap a SHOWER. I want one so bad. Physics got between me and my daily bath yesterday. Not fun. Being clean is gooood.
Mr. Miyagi and Thanksgiving
November 27 2005
::edit::
Mr. Miyagi [Pat Morita] died in Las Vegas on Thursday. Natural causes.
*snifflecry*
::un-edit::
Hmm. Been over a week. *stretches* I've been in a omg I want Thanksgiving break NOW haze.
And now: it's the last day of said break. What did I do with my time off?
I watched the last third of season six and all of season seven of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I drank a lot of soda. I ate a lot of food. I had sushi the day after Thanksgiving. I eluded cleaning my kitchen and doing my homework.
Ah yes. Now it all comes back to me. I have TWO APUSH chapters to read [or pretend to read] today.
I am officially out of jeans. I only have one pair that my enormous friction-generating thighs haven't worn through already. And that pair is so big on me that I can slide it on and off without unbuttoning or unzipping it. I could wear my other pants... but that consists of two pairs: a pair of pinstripes that are too small and a pair of khakis that are a little too big.
Rrrrrrrrrr.
Damn thighs all rubbin' together when I walk and crap.
I think I hear the couch downstairs calling my name. Excuse me.
hmm.
November 18 2005
I was feeling really good just a while ago...
Like, crazy giddy.
Now?
Meh.
I feel deflated. I don't like it.
Maybe its because a ton of my friends went to see Harry Potter at midnight and didn't even invite me. Which should be fine because I'm going to see it later tonight with my mom.
She's got an extra ticket. Michael's parents won't let him go. Steven's going to a birthday party. Jane's going to see it with someone else later today. Megan didn't answer her phone. Mellie's on a college visit trip in Ohio.
I repeat: Meh.
Updating from physics class.
November 14 2005
Oh yeah, phusebox is cool. I can update from Mrs. Daniel's class!
Huzzah for physics.
Ooh! Class rings during lunch today. Score.
Report cards tomorrow. *cries bitterly*
I am in a loving mood today.

I invented a new game for phusebox.
November 06 2005
You can start from either your site or a friend's site.
Pick someone listed on their friends box and click. Keep clicking on random friends under friend boxes until you make it back to the site you started from.
You can keep score by counting how many sites you have to go through [even if you go through the same site more than once].
I forgot to keep count when I was doing it, but it took me about four minutes to get back to the phusebox I started from.
The coolest thing about this is that when you start browsing through sites that belong to friends-of-your-friends, you might find people that you didn't even know had a PHUSEbox.
For instance, somewhere during that four minutes of clicking, I found the PHUSEbox of a guy that I haven't seen since he sat next to me in 8th grade algebra I.
Whee!
November 05 2005
It's 10:45 AM, I've been up for 6 hours when normally on a Saturday, I wouldn't be awake for another hour or so.
At the Drill Meet in CELL HELL!
Havin' myself a blast. We've got a ton of food and good music and good friends. I'll probably be here until midnight or so, but that's okay. I'm having fun. ^_^
P.S. One good thing about Phusebox being so young is that the school system hasn't blocked it yet! *score*
scoring cell solidarity
November 04 2005
OHS Invitational Drill Meet. The 10th one, I think? Anyways. The number doesn't matter.
What matters is that I get to be locked in the room doing the job that is considered to be the most important in running a drill meet:
adding numbers on a calculator.
I get to double check scores and correct them if they're tallied wrong [they often are].
Ooh! And I get to sit in the JROTC room all day and not leave at all unless I have to pee so bad my bladder is about to explode. And by all day I mean from about 5:45 AM to 6:00 or 7:00 PM.
What can I say? Scoring cell is the best of the best. Yee-haw.
It is cool, though, that we're allowed to have food. We get to sit down all day instead of running around. We get to listen to music and mess around more than the other kids working the drill meet do.
We're buying breakfast for ourselves. Amber is making scrambled eggs or something, I'm buying donuts, and Andrew is getting some bearclaws or something.
AND TATER IS HELPING US!!!
Jacob Kennedy, our BNCO from last year, was invited by Colonel to come back and help with scoring cell. So we get to hang out with Tater a.k.a Bambi all day. ^_^
I know that a lot of other schools have good drill teams and that they have a lot of fun with drill. But they're really missing out when they don't get to run their own meet.
Ahhh... the joys of being a drama queen
November 03 2005
I love you guys.
So anyways. Another mental health day for Sarah today. I tend to panic when I wake up late. Because if I wake up late, I've almost definately woken up most of the way through my first class.
My dad let me stay home because he's worried about my stress level. So Sarah got to stay home and study and relax.
So yeah. Now that I've missed a test in... every class except pre-cal, finishing up my six weeks will be tons of fun. Weehooo.
I've got some work to do. Later, homies whom I love very much!
no love for the sarahbox
November 01 2005
*dramatic sigh*
So whatever and stuff.
Ummmm. Having a little trouble with the concentration lately. Have to go to a bookstore and do some emergency book scrounging and reading *crosses fingers* in addition to some other homework.
'Zoli's tonight. [That whole throwing-a-couch-off-a-baclony-in-Antioch thing didn't really work out. Will have to do it some other time.]
I want tuna.
NOW!
And Starburst.
weekend-end
October 30 2005
"Thank goodness it's the weekend-end, I need some pointless work!"
Hahah... yeah right. I'm trying really hard not to let myself stress out as Monday rears it's fugly head, but it's hard.
It doesn't help that Halloween is tomorrow, and I don't have anything fun to do. Hopefully, I will find friends who have plans and are willing to let me butt in on them.
Gah. I need to get white tights or stockings or something for my costume tomorrow... well, if any of my friends have plans, that is. If they don't, then I'm pretty sure I'll be in not-dressing-up land.
Which is kind of lame.
I'll have to invent some grand tale about how amazing my Halloween was so my mom won't feel like she's wasted her time or money.
Even if she doesn't know, I'll still know. It's the money I'm mostly wigged about. She spent somewhere around $50 on the materials for my costume, and she doesn't come by $50 easily.
*sigh*
Not stressing. Not stressing. Not stressing. Not stressing.
I can make it through this week alive, right?
Recycling
October 29 2005
Anyways.
*can't believe she didn't go the football game last night*
[I didn't go to OHS / RHS or the SGH / BHS game.]
There was a streaker!
Oakland is really making a name for itself. What is that? Two football-game streakers in three years? Pretty sure that's more than any of the other Rutherford County schools can say for themselves.
*oakland-power fist*
So.
I have a weird pressure-y feeling in my forehead. Think I'll take some sudafed. Hah, I made a rhyme!
Jane called me yesterday and we decided to hang out after the SGH / BHS game. But she never called me back! *cries*
That's alright. I stayed at home and ate grilled cheese sandwiches and soup with my Dadoo. And watched some Northern Exposure. I want Ed to be my special friend.
So maybe Jane wants to do something today?
No Rocky Horror for Sarah this Halloween. All of her friends are out of town and Monday is pretty much the lamest day that Halloween could ever fall on. *laments the time and money her mom wasted on her Alice costume*
So. Anyone doing anything fun for Halloween?
RCBA RULES!!!
October 27 2005
Yeah, that's right I said it.
The Rutherford County Blacksmith Association RUUUUUULES!!!
Especially the Murfreesboro branch.
Rachel and I went to Cannonsburgh today [again] to work on our APUSH project [some more]. And there was actually a blacksmith in today. We talked to him about blacksmith classes and the different projects you can make and all that jazz. We decided that Blacksmiths are cool.
You know the "World's Largest Cedar Bucket" that used to be right near the entrance to Cannnonsburgh? You know that an[some] arsonist[s] burned it down this summer, right? I always thought that the bucket had been totally trashed and they had to get rid of it. But wait!
It's still there! It's behind a chain link fence in this little cubby next to the Antique Farm Implements Museum. It's all charred and the side that's almost completely burned is turned away from the tourists, but it's there! And there was a little sign talking about the bucket's history and how it was burned down and how some fine gentlemen from the RCBA known as The Brotherhood of the Bucket are going to build an exact replica of the original bucket!
Ooh! And Rachel and I found out what a soap making ash hopper is. And how it works. Because park staff people are just that cool.
Wow.
There has got to be something wrong with you if you have this much fun at Cannonsburgh.
Did I mention that we're going back?
Rachel forgot her camera, so we're going to go back next week re-enact and take pictures of our various Cannonsburgh adventures.
Huzzah for APUSH and the RCBA!
Monday Monday
October 24 2005
This photo was brought to you by the Jewish Fashion Conspiracy. It's pretty freakin' hilarious. I think you should check it out.
In the meantime:
Every other day, every other day
Every other day of the week is fine, yeah
But whenever Monday comes, but whenever Monday comes
A-you can find me cryin' all of the time -- The Mamas and the Papas
Heard this song on the radio today. It made me think of - well, today. Today being Monday and all. Not to mention that it was kinda lame. Was running just a teensy bit late, then I discovered my car covered in frost. The frost was not very cooperative about scraping off. Everything I tried to improve my visibility only made it worse.
I wound up having a nervous breakdown about not being able to make my car be go, being late, getting detention, and all that mess. My dad declared "Mental Heatlh Day!" And I went back to bed. As much as I thoroughly enjoy being at home and not being at school, I know it would have been better if I had gone.
*shrug*
Oh well.
I almost forgot: had my first "session" with Dr. I-can't-spell-her-name, and I like her. She's really cool.
Umm.
Good night?
So.
October 23 2005
Who's up for some Rocky Horror Picture Show this Halloween?
*raises hand*
Good. I'm glad we all agree.
My costume on the other hand... I don't know how well it's going to turn out. It's not by any lack of excellent craftsmanship on my mom's part, it's just that... I don't think I'm really cut out to wear it, you know?
I just wanted to do the "average" Halloween thing and push my own personal envelope and wear something that I would normally never be caught dead wearing. Now I don't know if I want to be seen in public.
. . . .
I feel so stupid for letting my body get like this. I know it's not horrible or anything, but it used to be a lot better. Gah.
No worries. I start therapy tomorrow. So either I'm going to be committed as clinically insane or, the more preferable course, I'll get less unhappy.
I like this song.
October 22 2005
"Jane Says" by Jane's Addiction
Jane says
I'm done with Sergio
He treats me like a ragdoll
She hides
The television
Says I don't owe him nothing,
But if he comes back again
Tell him to wait right here for me
Or just
Try again tomorrow
I'm gonna kick tomorrow
Gonna kick tomorrow
Jane says
Have you seen my wig around?
I feel naked without it
She knows
They all want her to go
But that's O.K. man
She dont like them anyway
Jane says
She's goin away to spain
When she gets my money saved
I'm gonna start tomorrow
I'm gonna kick tomorrow
Gonna kick tomorrow
She gets mad
Starts to cry
She takes a swing but
She cant hit
She don't mean no harm
She just don't know
What else to do about it
Jane goes
To the store at 8:00
She walk up on St. Andrews
She waits
And gets her dinner there
She pulls her dinner
From her pocket
Jane says
I've never been in love
I don't know what it is
Only knows if someone wants her
I want them if they want me
I only know they want me
She gets mad
And she starts to cry
She takes a swing man
She cant hit!
She don't mean no harm
She just dont know
What else to do about it
Jane says
Jane says
sleepy. homework. hungry.
October 18 2005
Doc says that my digestive system is irritated.
Whee.
Besides that, my butt has been dragging all day. I'm so effin' tired.
I have a fairly substantial load of homework, too.
And it's Fazoli's Night. I'm trying to think of what I can eat there that constitutes "bland." [Doctor's orders.]
Later.
Urrrrrg.
October 16 2005
Why does my stomach get upset so easily these days? The simplest things can set it off.
- Thinking about school.
- Going to school.
- Moving around.
- Sitting still.
- Eating.
Usually it just winds up being mild discomfort and it doesn't end in throwing up or other bodily reactions to stomach aches. And it doesn't really hurt, per se, but it's definately uncomfortable.
*cranky face*
*trips out*
October 15 2005
Woah, you guys. Check it out.
Phusebox is all... Greenbox-y. And it's kinda neat. ^_^ Nathan has really outdone himself.
So. Anyways.
How's your weekend so far? Mine is peachy. Sleeping in, Mexican food, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's all good. Well, actually, my dad and I are out of Buffy. We finished off the first two seasons, which me borrowed from my mom, and our box set of ALL SEVEN SEASONS won't arrive till November.
*cries*
Ah well, I've got other stuff to do anyways.
Well then. I guess I love you and such?
Ciao, my homies.
::edit::
P.S. - I need some real pictures like woah. My photo box is pretty darn lame. *laments her lack of camera*
