My friend Spencer and I got to talking about all the folks over in Ireland (including Adam, who had better be taking pictures!!!!!!) for St. Patrick's day. Our scenario managed somehow to change from a round of drinking songs to an attack of the IRA. And somehow another girl in our class wound up in it and it didn't bode well for her. She drank all the Guinnes in Ireland and managed to tick off the IRA, poor her.

I got back from salsa practice about 20 minutes ago…we’re
all a bit insane if I may say. Spencer can’t keep his shirt on, and that’s a
little weird if you’re his partner. Even weirder is when he starts doing
something to your hair. It was kinda funny when I turned around and landed him
one in the chest.

I think we’re having a movie night at my house tonight, not
to sure but I know mom said something about Underworld 2, oh wait that was me.

Pa looks great, he's bruised as all get out, but he's still doing good.He shaved his head, which makes me sad. But it beats getting blood and such in your hair so I'll deal with it.

Nana is making healthier food, don't get me wrong it's still artery clogging goodness, but there's less grease involved. I never thought I'd see the day, but I'm glad I did. They're getting older and they needed to cut back on the Crisco.

Today was apathetic, for lack of a better term. It was
slightly amusing at best.

 

This whole weather thing we’ve been having all week is
confusing to me. One week ago it was freezing outside and practically snowing.
Now? Now it’s warm enough to wears a sleeveless shirt. Very odd indeed.

 

Leslie and I had a small jam session today, I was listening
to Breaking Benjamin and she came in and just snatched an ear bud. We stood
there and started singing along with them and soon enough we were dancing like
a couple of dorks. I just love those random little bonding moments friends
have, and that was one of them.

 

I have a new name, a few friends of mine got really bored one
period and decided to give everyone nun names. Mine is Sister Jamie Catherine,
Abbey’s is Sister Abbey Maria, and John is His Holiness the Pope and Mother
Superior. How’d he swing that one?

*sigh* I went to the dentist today expecting a simple
filling. But no, Fate decided it’d be a real sweetheart and add a root canal
AND a cap. Yeah, I can’t feel the right side of my face and I’m drooling like
an idiot. My face feels like latex rubber.

So yeah, I’ve been doing nothing but sitting at the hospital
for the past few days. Pa’s surgery went fine, but this morning he had to be
rushed into emergency surgery.

            His blood wouldn’t clot and he kept
bleeding, but they’ve fixed it. I think they’ll put him in a regular room day
after tomorrow.

 

Valentines Day was uneventful, which was fine by me. My
friend Sarah gave me a really cute flower with a Hershey in the center, but
that’s about it. I was enjoying it, I wrapped it around my pen, the pen was
green so it was funny to me.

 

So yeah, I’ve had like 4 hours of sleep today. I could go
for a hug; all day at the hospital doesn’t really do a body good. *sigh* I’ve
been listening to a lot of Laguna Coil, Evanescence, Three Days Grace, and Skillet
lately.
  I think the
general atmosphere of the hospital ICU is getting to me. I’ve been to hospitals
before, heck I’ve been a patient there more times than I care to remember. But
when it’s someone like Pa, it’s different. He’s never even been sick, and then
they just show up with a brain tumor. It’s like someone shattered a stained
glass window, almost profane.

 It’s hard you know.
Just sitting there when someone like him is laying in a bed in the Vandy ICU attached
to 9 bags of a thousand different things with his face so bruised and swollen
he can barely open his eyes, I’m amazed I haven’t just lost it all over everything
and everyone.
I have however given myself a very
small cut on my palm. I was clenching my fist so hard, my fingernails did a
little bit of damage. No, I’m not cutting, it was an accident. I was mad,
really really mad.

 

So yeah, putting up with The Aunts
hasn’t made me that happiest person in the world. Yes, I have some of those,
who doesn’t? I could tell you quite a few stories about our adventures with
them.

 

On a lighter note, I spent about 2
hours today making fun of just about everybody in FFVII. My cousin and I
watched Advent Children today, oh the jokes abounded. Cloud bore the brunt of
most of them, simply because when two people that tend to share a though
process things are always funny. Poor Cloud, the whole tight black clothing
thing failed him today, it failed him miserably…

So yeah, I now have to type all my post on Word and paste
them onto the Phuzzy-box. Tis very irksome.

 

I’m waiting for everyone else to get ready for church, and
thus far, only mom is ready. I hate being low-maintenance sometimes…

 

We finally got all of our shopping done for military ball,
oh happy day. I think my favorite part about the stupid dress is the shoes,
they’re freakin’ amazing man. And all it took was a week of shopping to find it
all; I was about ready to shoot myself. We did get a little off track a store
and bought some shirts (for example the wicked cool ones I’m wearing today) and
a few other little things like that.

 

I went to practice with Todd and Andy; I can’t hear a dang thing!!
They rehearse in such a small room, I’m surprised they’ not deaf. I sure am. But
it was a barrel or so of fun, the Taco Song is freakin’ hilarious. “Do you want
a taco?  A six inch burrito?”  Oh man, it’s great.

 

In case you guys can’t tell, I’ m uploading pics like nobodies
business. I just figured out how to get into the shared documents and had a field-day.

I've chanted the chorus over and over to keep myself up, but now it just feels like this wonderufl peace I've had for so long is merely the eye of a hurricane with the worst yet to come. Okee-Dokee, Pa's doing great. The tumor isn't on his brain and it's benign (non-cancerous). They're going to remove it at Vandy, wwaaayyyyy better than the hospital in Cookville, I don't care how good Dr. Justice is.

So I found a trailer for a book I read in like the 7th grade, and hated it. The movie's called Blood and Chocolate, not really looking forward to it. Leslie roped me into going, her and Delaine need someone that's hated the book to balance them out when tey get worked up about some twist the script writers put in.

I seriously need to get this song out of my head!

The bloodwork came back today, and I have whooping cough. Yay me (note the sarcasm).

My grandpa has a tumor in his sinus cavity the size of a small something. That's as much as I could get from trying to listen to my mom talk to Ms.Jeana, so be more worried for him than me. I think mom knows I know, but it doesn't matter.

Umm, just be praying for him. It'd be nice for him to stick around a little longer...

I was reading Stacys blog and it got me all thoughtful.

I'm happy she can control her asthma and evrything, but I always hated my nebulizer. It always seemed like something that held me back. I had to use it everyday, and I felt absolutely REVOLTING afterwards.

I shook, I couldn't walk, and I could barely keep down anything after I ate.

I was litteraly chained to that hunk of plastic, I hated it. I loathed and despised it.

I think my problem is that I can't understand how someone can be happy about having a Nebulizer when I hated mine so much. Camp was the right place for me to be, otherwise I might have had to be chained to it for the rest of my life.

I hadn't used it in years, thanks to modern medicine (which I don't take anymore, muahaha) but it just sort of became a symbol for it.

I'm not saying it's bad for Stacy to have it, she needs it. So congrats Stacy!! I'm glad you can control it now, and yeah it would be bad for Sunday to repeat its self.
