November 28, 2008so, i haven't been on here lately. things have been weird. not really bad, just different. i do miss old times though. things seem really tense between a lot of my friendships and the friendships of my other friends. i miss coming home and having so much to write on here even though i knew a max of probably only like 3 people would read it. i was really happy then, and i am now. it's just a different happy if that makes sense. i've realized that no matter what you do, you can't make everyone like you. changing yourself to get what you want probably isn't always the best thing - for me anyway. i seem to be spending more time alone lately. at first it bothered me, but i've gotten used to it. it still makes me sad sometimes, but i've learned that i can't count on people to make me happy. i'm almost half way through high school, and i haven't done half the things i wanted to. but that's ok, cause i've realized that some of those things probably aren't so great things. i'm still trying to figure things out. life's changing so much way too fast sometimes and not fast enough at other times. i just don't know when to make the most of my time. so i'm mostly just blabbering right now, so i'll leave with i mostly just want to be me - i just haven't quite figured out who that is.
September 01, 2008So Sub Deb initiation last night wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm just happy that I got through it with out getting sick. The smell was one of the worst parts - and seeing myself afterwords. First we had to sit in a kiddie pool and our partners poured gross stuff on us. Then we had to sack race and go through tires with some pretty nasty stuff in it. We had to crawl down the slip-and-slide. I don't even won't to know what was all on there because it got on my face. So gross. Then we had to climb over a hay bail and then jump into another kiddie pool and find a penny in a bunch of gross stuff. The first one to find it was the winner which was me - pretty much the only good thing about last night. After everyone had gone through, we all got in a line and sang the Little Teapot song and then we got stuff poured on our heads and had to rub it in. It wasn't reall that bad though compared to what other girls have had to go through over the years. We got it super easy. I'm just glad it's over and done with and now I'm officially in Sub Deb. yay!
August 28, 2008Just wanted to say I love my friends so much, and I have no idea what I would do without them. They keep me from going insane, and they always make me laugh till my stomach hurts or food/drink comes out of my mouth/nose.
July 31, 2008My uncle had cancer a while back and faught it. The other day he went in for a check up, and the doctors found a spot around his lungs. He has said before that if it came back he wouldn't fight again. I ask that all of you wil just pray for him and our family.
July 29, 2008I finally got my permit today. I'm so excited! Now I just have to learn how to drive which is not going to be easy. Hopefully I won't get hurt.
