What is maturity?

technically it's full grown or developed, but it is used in different ways... if I say a nine yr. old is mature I may not mean that he is more developed in that than a 'immature' 15 yr. old... but that he is more so than is typical or expected at that age... someone may not be mature on an even scale of development in an area, but is mature in the sense that they are more so than most their own age. It is being developed and grown... but all that is generality and maturity can be used to relate to many areas.

Wow. ummmm.....I agree with the above comments. I think that's a really vague question (or at least really hard to answer). In my opinion one true characteristic of maturity is acting unselfishly and responsibly.
