the game was good... good run after jessup pumped us up and challenged us

after the game while returning uniforms emotions were runnin high though... so many people are going through so many things that noone would ever guess. its hard to watch people completely breakdown and you realize that they have been hiding this stuff the whole time.

practice was interesting on friday....

it had nothing to do with the band though

but had everything to do with someone

it will definately change the season for me a bit

after practice i went to the fair

it was SOOOO fun

me tj and josh hung out all night and were with a group of other band kids for quite a while too

except when we got split up due to the ferris wheel and a funnel cake

if you ever wondered fairs have good food... im just glad i wasnt paying for it

i got to drive home too! and it was like 10:30 at night

driving at night is very relaxing

i ahve MYO chair auditions tomorrow

 i havet picked up my flute in like 3 weeks

 iv played for about 20 mins tonight... so i got that goin for me

th game was a BLAST! on firday

my first public DM thing was awesome...the feeling of being on that podium in foront of close to a thousand people was simply amazing

encore was pretty cool too but will improve with some tweaking

spent the nigth with jenn, amy, glenda, D, kait, and erin and it was awesome. then they (me and erin werent allowed to see it) went to see snakes on a plane and to the mall  then we met them at fazoli's and then went to amy and glendas house.

defiantely a good friday & saturday with my friends

sunday was 2 years.... wow. its hard to stomach the fact that Bruce has been gone that long. it was odd to pass the day and not cry, im not sure why but the tears just never came.i saw mrs gilley at lunch sunday though. it made my day. i love her so much... she is my hero.

i was excited about getting my schedule today... but its all screwed up so it helped me none

a first period that i didnt sign up for, 2 3rd periods, no 4th, drivers ed in the wrong semester, and the other half semester they put me in i didnt sign up for

friday went good. although i didnt do to hott.

after the potluck me, erin, jenny, jeremy, jason, megan, ari, stephanie, holly, josh, and cameron went to  kelly's house and hung out in the pool for 4 hours. it was so much fun. i love those kids. this year is gonna be better than ever.

we only have 2 days left though wich is very very sad

its odd to see how my group of friends is changing and such

one thing is odd though. i know all of the drill. i can march just as much of the show as i can conduct.

i love being up in the truck and starting the set to set runs. its awesome. its also awesome to cue someone and hear them come in. its also funny to give a hold to a section and hear them cut off 2 counts early.

my band respects me and likes having me as one of the DMs. it means so much to me that they respect me. one guy felt bad about something he saud to me that i didnt take as a big deal. he came to me later and appologized for "disrespecting me." i was so taken aback that he did that. it made me feel good and think highly of him.

ok well its late i need to sleep so my muscles can finally relax

no more phusebox??? ya right.

its amazing, band is. im so proud of us. the level of focus is so much higher. the music sounds amazing. we put our first 5 sets on in an hour.

as for myself. i got to conduct the opener yesterday. it was an amazing feeling. for the first time i wasnt conducting to a recording. i was conducting people that had the ability to watch me. i couldnt help but to smile like crazy through the entire thing. it was such a thrill.

went to summer music games yesterday. it was very cool.... until it started raining. so after an hour in the concord with thousands of hot, wet, sweaty kids they called the competition. while tring to leave. there was a kid sitting behind us that we ended up talking to for quite some time. sax player from some school in KY. so yeah we went to sonic after they called it and got home after 1.

band was yesterday.

i was introduced as the DM and everyone clapped and yelled for me. it was awesome.

so the band sounded better than i thought it would considering all the ppl that were missing. why do people wait till band starts to be on vacation? its stupid.

so yes this year is gonna be awesome.

jenn and D slept over and it was fun. i got to hang out with my girls. we stayed up until it was light outside again .then got very little sleep.

i was glad to be at church on wed night. i love wed nights at clavary. i loved running sound board. i lovbe the worship too. its just so awesome even when you are messing with levels every now and then.

ive realized that i cant let God take a 2nd place to band. it may sound stupid to all of you, but i need to want to know God as badly as i want to win a competition. i need to want him more than a superior drum major award.

well im siting here on the couch eating half frozen jello. i just got done packing up all my suff. well when dad gets home at around 4:30 well be off to oklahoma city to meet elle for the night. then tomorrow morning ill fly out from there at around 9:30.

its so odd. i hate this feeling. it comes every time i leave dads. its hard to go becuase hes your dad and he wants you to stay with him and you want to stay with him,but then there are your friends and an entire different life in another town. the end of this summer has been great cause its been just me and dad and were so alike. its been so fun. im ready to get back to you guys though. i miss my friends SO much. i miss my youth group. i just kinda miss the boro.

well im home in less than 24 hours and band starts pom tuesday!!!!!
