Lifesongs

February 05 2007

Life is like a compilation of songs,
lifesongs,
written by our decisions and performed by our actions.
Each song reflects a different era in our life.
Each song is different in an attempt to describe the
story of a progression through life.
There are those that have a beat where it bounds off the
speakers, they are vibrant, reckless, and full of energy.
Some are sad, full of pain, and waft through the
air with a longing for better times.
Others are full of rage with a tempo that is barely guided by
rational thought.
Still others are mellow, full of thought and intellect, and drift within
hearing as if it were a cool, refreshing breeze blowing on ones face.

The tracks are built upon the experience of the artist
at the time of its creation.
The beginning of this formation is not made with any
thought in mind, more of a banging on the limited instruments
available, not having any meaning but literally a random orientation
made upon the notes of each day.
These beginning tracks also have accompanists,
people who influence the songs, some of these are talented and make the artist sound much better than the actual skill level,
others clash so strongly that a horrendous squeal is produced.
As the big headed view of the artist increases, the accompaniment slowly
decreases, until it is no longer found within the songs.
This solo work lasts only for a short while before it is made a duet of two budding artists striving together towards a completion.
As the cd progresses more talent is shown, talent learned from life's lessons and applied carefully to each instrument in order to better represent the feelings that are represented within oneself.

Just somthing that I wrote... any thoughts?

'07 Mazda

January 11 2007
I got to drive a 2007 Mazda3 today... fun stuff.

It's not as fun as the lexus or the G6 that I drove but still lots of fun, though it is hard to get used to using one of those new automatic manuals. I still prefer to have a clutch, a clutch is just so much more fun.

Mb's b-day

December 17 2006
Hooper and I took our sisters to dinner and a movie today. It was a lot of fun. I took them in the '65 Mustang

SLEEP!

December 16 2006
If all goes right I should get a decent nights sleep tonight! I can't wait.

Work

December 13 2006
If work was fun then there would be no need to call it work, but does it have to be so dang hard?

If anyone ever thinks about attempting it... grouting walls for six hours when you haven't done a lot of grout in the near past really kills your hands, a lot

Anyway... three more days and then I get a paycheck and more important, I get to sleep

Last saturday I got to drive this gorgeous car

It is a 1965 Mustang. I drove it all day saturday, mainly to give a bunch little kids a ride in it. Lots of fun

Untitled

November 20 2006

So on Saturday I got to drive a 1935 Chevy. Not only did I get to drive it though... I got paid to drive it. It was lots of fun. I was chauffeuring a bride and groom from their wedding to their reception... Lots of fun. Except for the upholstry and the paint the car is entierally original, straight six, floor start, floor stick with the original H.

motorcycle fun

October 08 2006
so on friday afternoon I went to the DMV and after waiting an hour and a half I got a new license with a motorcycle endorsement on it! I then proceded Ken's house where I picked up his little 400cc bike for the weekend (I left him my mustang in exchange for his generosity). Once I picked it up I took it out on the road, this being the first time that I have ever had a bike on the road I was being extra careful... I drove around town for about two hours, it was great! Yesterday I took all sorts of backroads to Woodbury and back and ended up logging over one hundred miles on some really fun and gorgeous roads. Sadly today is the last day that I have the bike, Ken is coming to get it first thing in the morning. Time to start shopping for my own.

Cleveland

September 24 2006
I'm down in Cleveland visiting people at Lee this weekend. It has been a blast. So far what we have done: a couple of hours playing raquetball, a short game(ish) of tennis, lots of DDR (at which I suck, the other guys fly on that thing), and in the middle of the night last night we went out and played tackle tag and smear the queer in the rain, on grass that was slick enough to slide a good distance on. It was awesome, I tackled quite a few of the larger guys out there (you just have to hit them right....). The smear the queer game is where there is a ball (we used a knotted up t-shirt), the object is to have the ball, everyone else tries to tackle the guy with the ball. Needless to say, I probably had the ball more times (five) as well as longer than anyone else... it was fun

Update

September 16 2006
yeah... it's been a little while. Been keeping busy with school, work,
and church. School is going good so far, easy semester. Work is busy as
always. I posted some pics of this years parade house (finally) we won Peoples Choice Award for it end of July. Dad, Isaiah, and I pulled the engine on our '53 Ford
This was the last year that Ford made flatheads, it is a V8 and will look absolutely gorgeous when we are done with her. We are getting ready for our second Judgement ever at church. It is going
to be way cooler than last year, everyone who reads this should come.
It is going to be at the end of October, the dates are already set but
I do not have them in front of me... that's all for now

Buzzfest

August 27 2006

New Hampshire #?

August 20 2006
Haven't updated in a few days. Since my last update... the rest of my family arrived. We have gone to the beach twice, Went shopping on the boardwalk. We went on a whale watch and saw a pod of thirty to forty dolphins that were jumping all over the place, and yesterday we went sailing on a fifty footer... I had the helm for most of the trip so that was very cool. Raining today, but there is no room to complain since this is the first bad weather that we have gotton since J&J got here three weeks ago. Got my flight for the trip back, I should be back in the boro somtime thursday night. Once I get home life gets busy again. I have to move into my new apartment, catch up on work, and then MTSU starts on the 28th. Life...

New Hampshire #5

August 11 2006
beach today... took the skimboard, still remember how to use it so that was good. Ran on the beach again... seven minutes straight then on and off for the way back. It was very cloudy this afternoon, that along with the wind made it a cold day on the beach causing an early return to the house. Made some good progress on Metroid Prime (gamecube). That is pretty much today in NH

New Hampshire #'s 3&4

August 10 2006

Went ice skating yesterday morning, Shanon skated circles around me (as usuall). After skating we went to the beach.. it was a wee bit chilly so I was not in the water too much, went running on the beach... I ran for about twenty minutes, I think my calves are going to fall off soon they hurt so bad :-P. Today Shanon and I took J&J to the water park.. Lots of fun there. Grandpa and I went to the Galley Hatch for steak tonight... ohhh, it was awesome, slow roasted for three or four days to a juicy medium rare that practicaly melted in my mouth... ohh it was good. Took J&J to ice cream afterwards, then movie, now here in front of the comp... yep, that is my life in NH so far.

New Hampshire #2

August 08 2006
Today was nice... woke up and surfed the internet while waiting for my cousin to wake up. Once she woke up we took a three mile run with their dog. Went to the beach... made a sand castle, played in the freezing water some, read my book, and surprisingly got a little bit of sunburn. Once arriving at my Grandparents house I then proceded off to get some sandals and sunglasses. Lasagana for dinner and then more internet (now). Nice to relax and not have to be somewhere at any certain time.

New Hampshire #1

August 07 2006
So after many busy days and limited internet access I can now update... I am in New Hampshire, where I will be for the next couple of weeks. I arrived about four hours ago and am staying at my Aunts house tonight. After everything that I have had going on this summer this should be a very good break for me.

Just before work

June 06 2006
I am about to head off to work. Another great weekend. Saturday after working some I went out to the house for Joshua and Jonathan's birthday party, had fun out there, I talked with Dad for a while, played Need for Speed on the gamecube, went swimming in the pool, and watched most of The Last Samurai. Sunday after playing bass for church we took the boat out again, it was awesome, I went skiing, kneeboarding, tubing, and wakeboarding. We had a full boat which made the wake absolutly great, I got more air on skis than I have ever gotten before. It was lots of fun. I will have a few pics later.
