If you are neither loosing or winning what are you doing?

I think from the christian point of view that you could lose a battle u didn't fight. John Piper difines a chrisitian as "not as someone who has no sinful desires, but someone who is at war with these desires." So if you don't make any effort to fight, the battle would already be lost right? Those were just my thoughts anyway.

or perhaps, you can't win because SOMEONE already won it FOR you?

hey brian! i'm doing well. i was there wednesday, but i didn't see you. you should start coming to AO! i quit my job, because i was never able to be at church, so i'll see u soon and we definately have to talk! i miss your face!! also, on this blog, i know exactly what you mean, but through patience and prayer, your heart will eventually be at peace. i know that is sooo true. outside our battles to fight temptations, witness to nonbelievers, ect., we cannot really pick our battles. i don't think so. because we often do, but we end up making the wrong choice. when God picks them for us, we know that He has a reason, and that it's all in His plan..even if we lose. anyhow, i don't know what's going on.so i'm not really sure if that helped..and u probably already knew that anyways, but i'm praying for you and i love you!!!!

Burger King, I have no idea what you're talking about, but if you are willing to bear the sacrifices associated with defeat, then by all means go for it.

Garrett Haynes makes a point that is wise beyond his days . . . and on to my thoughts, while discretion may be the better part of valor, it is better to fight and lose than not fight and never know for sure what might have been...
