my poetry (an old one)

December 13 2005

they said we couldn't make it

each too different

and i guess they were right.

one day she was gone

and standing there alone

i looked to the window

calling me with open arms

ready to embrace me

in its beauty, and i let it.

through its frame and out

into the open sky

like a bird, never understood,

until i finally set my feet

down on the sidewalk

ten stories below.

later, there was a

closed-casket funeral and

they called it sin but

i call it art.

Holy cow.... I remember this one. Funny, I seem to "get it" more than before. *SnapSnapSnapSnap* But if you so much as look out a 10-story window I'm gonna have to hurt you.

Intriguing... and no, I don't want to be like Hitler! All geology books deserve to be burned!

Wow............. ok, onto why I'm here..... I WILL be at Siegel on Thursday...... I'm currently setting my alarm on my phone so I will definitely wake up in time to leave Franklin and not sleep through my alarm like I did before..... so your class starts at 11:30, right? Sarah~

You have left me stunned... Now all you have to do is knock me over with a feather.

Interesting, Cuz. Rather depressing, also. I agree with Kel... no windows for you, unless there is a very large something-cushy under it (maybe we could form a trampoline brigade, Kel?) P.S. ... How does tomorrow or Friday sound for the "family reunion"?

If you want to know the truth, I don't remember joining that group. At all. Which is highly suspicious, and I blame the cats. Check back soon, see if there's not a new addition to your group. :D
