So as one day fades into another, most of this day is gone. And where did it go? I feel like I ask myself the same question everyday. It's usually around 9 in the evening and think on all that I need to get done and by that time it's over.
Everyday I find myself faced with the reality that most of my friends are getting engaged or married or having children. I don't think that I am ready to do any of these things. And for one thing, you usually need a boyfriend to do them anyways. But the more I am surrounded by this the more it gets to me that I don't have it. I don't think that watching chick flicks on a regular basis helps either.
Oh the woes of being 25 and single.

true story about the chick flicks. they totally put images in our heads about the way relationships are supposed to be, thus creating expectations. then we get disappointed in relationships which is another issue all together. maria, you are an amazing woman. don't let the devil feed you lines that you have to have all those things too right now. be satisfied in God alone. he is the only one that can fulfill you and bring you true happiness. during our single years, we are supposed to have an undivided heart for the Lord. you have an awesome opportunity to serve him fully while you are in NY. continue to wait for God's best!!! i know this guy he has for you will have to be super awesome becasue you are!!! continue to develop an intimate relationship with your Maker, which also happens to be your Husband (isaiah 54:5). let him develop you into the woman he needs you to be for your future husband. i am sure you knew all that already, but i just typed anyhow. i hope you have a great day! and i will see you in a few weeks! yay for paint the town!!!
