Well, I finished my last day at DQ today, yet it was not without frustration. When employees leave DQ, and are in good standing with the management it is customary for the owner to buy the leaving employee a cake. I did not receive one.

I'm not sure if I have ever felt as under appreciated as I have in my time at DQ. I feel as though I have been under payed, overworked, and under appreciated. When an employee works somewhere for a year, is never late, and NEVER misses a shift, and only called in sick twice you would think this employee would be valued. Especially since this is EXTREMELY rare behavior for a fast food employee. I also can work every position (Grill, Chill, Front and Drive through) while most only work one or two positions. So, being "valued" as I am I got a raise. I got a raise to a whopping $6 and hour. While other people I work with (Rebecca included) get far superior raises in a much shorter amount of time.

Why does someone who only works drive through, and only works it for a month, get a 75 cent raise?

I don't know, maybe I'm overreacting, but I feel extremely.... abused.
Like they saw that I wasn't going to quit because of my low pay so they
decided that they wouldn't give me one. I hate when I try to do the
right thing and I get stepped on for it.

I took my Statistics test today.
I think I passed, but not by much. In the intire statistics book there was only one subject that we didn't cover over the year, and we didn't cover it because in past years there were only 2 or 3 (out of 75) multiple choice questions over it.
The test went like this:

• 75 Multiple Choice-50%


• 5 Free Response-25%


• 1 Really Hard Free Response-25%

Guess what that one REALLY big free response was over... Chi^2!!!!! Curses, Execrations, and Maldiction on this cursed thing called "Chi Squared." The ONE thing we didn't go over. I still think I passed though.

A.P. English is Thursday, and I don't know how I'm going to do on it. It's not even a test you can study for. All you do is write essays (which I don't have a natural tallent for) and interpret poems and find things like "Tone" and "Motifs." We'll see how I do.

But this makes me feel better:

A TERRIBLE thing happened. I came home and I see the pan of brownies on
the counter. I run excitedly to them and throw off the tin foil
covering to see that the contents had defunct, all but for a piece the
size of a small walnut. In my anguish I cried out. As my torment passed
it gave way to madness. As I flew up the stairs I had a savage
countenance. My furry had blinded me from all but my sortie. Revenge. I
approached my mother. That creature that bore me in her womb for 9 tumultuous
months. With terror in her eyes she forfeited the location of my prize.
She had hid it in the pantry.

My Choir and ensemble advanced, but my duet and solo didn't :-) & :-(

Actually it was my solo and duet that I wanted to go the most, but it's still cool. I'm off to prom now.

I'm done with fine arts (I'll know the results soon) and now I'm getting ready for prom.

Fine Arts-
I'm doing a solo, a large ensemble, a duet, and chior.

Man I hope I go to nationals this year…. If I don't I think I might cry or somethin….It's my last year, my last Fine Arts trip. My solo is better this year (I think) so maybe it will advance.

Acid Reflux- Still burns, I guess I'll be talking to a surgeon unless something changes

Job- Still at DQ Grill & Chill. I'm getting enough hours where I have a decent money supply right now.

School- I'm stoked about going to LEE. It's gonna rock. I just have to hold out for 3 more weeks of boredome.

Why can't I do what's right when it's hard. I ALWAYS mess it up.

For how tired I am I don't get it. I went to bed, fell asleep and then woke up about half an hour ago and staired at the ceiling.... so, not being able go go back to sleep. I got up, checked my completely uneventful e-mail and phuse box. Now that I've move a little I should fall back asleep easily.

Night everyone

I went guitar shoping yesterday and fell in love with a guitar. I still have about 1,200,572 guitars left to play before I decide which one I want, but I am going to be hard pressed to find better. It sounded AMAZING and when I plugged it in it kept a mellow sound (I hate when it's twangy and sharp.... when it's like that you can hear every individual string and it kinda hurts your ears) which is amazing. I'm going to go to Guitar Heaven, the Gibson store in Opry Mills, and all the shops on the square. I'm going to play just about every accoustic (unless it's above my price range) that they have. I'll find the perfect guitar.

Well, now I'm off to work. I work 5 to Midnight if anyone wants to drop in and see me. If you drop in around 8 you might catch me on my break.

My shoulder hurts. I arm wrestled Josh a few weeks ago and pulled or strained something in my shoulder (don't laugh). It's been a small problem since then, like when I mop the floor at work it will throb a little, or really when I do anything physical like that. Well apparently raquetball is not a good choice. By the end of about 1/2 an hour my arm was screaming at me and threatening to fall off my body, but it was much welcomed stress relief.

I got a new cell phone (for those of you who don't know, that's a big deal). My new phone is the Motorola E815

It's nice, and I can connect it to my laptop through bluetooth. So instead of downloading all the music and backgrounds I want and having to pay for them I can do it free from my laptop.

Alright, I have a delima....I'm doing a solo in Fine Arts (for those of you who don't know, it's a competition that my church participates in) and I have no idea what to sing... suggestions would be very welcome (has to be christian song).Also, if anyone has a suggestion about what me and linda should sing for our duet (we've beens saying were going to do it for 4 years and this year we actually are) let me know...Thanks
