My brother and I were just having a talk about the word "Hot". I told him to always call a girl beautiful, never hot. He said, "WHY?? what if they are?". I told him that hot is a pretty degrading word to girls and they would much rather be called beautiful. It makes them feel important. Instead of just some other girl...yeah. He still disagrees with me. WHAT do y'all think?

I totally agree with you , Carmen i just hate that word, its stupid , its makes us all sound lke flamed grilled cheese burgers, and it is very degrading .... im glad you told him that , you have to teach them young ...lol. <br> but pretty much its true,callig girls (

I think its not a word thats degrading but its used pervertedly(someone spell check that). I also think a girl should take it as a compliment but say that they dont like the word.

i'm with you on this. I PERSONALY think being called "hot" is degrading. It makes me feel more as a thing then a person. I dont think Guys get where we (as the girls) come from on this whole "hot" thing. I let it go most of the time, but if i tell someone once that i would rather them not call me "hot" and they keep doing it..i just walk away. But that hasn't happened for a long time (breath in and out Tyler) so yeah i'm with you on this.

i dont want to diss jacob...but i TOTALLY and STRONGLY disagree. how can you know how it makes a girl feel when you call her hot? you don't know. (i know that sounds super moody and whatnot but you honestly don't think like a girl, Jacob.) and thanks, austin for being a guy to remark on this comment. well thanks to jacob too, but...nevermind. and to be totally honest...i didn't think guys would remark on this but i'm glad they did because now i know what they think........or some of them.
so yeah.
