Friendship

You know, the funny thing about relationships is that, for as much as we say can't live without them, they're all expendible. Trust me, without you, your significant other will eventually get over you: you are just one mishap away from being permamently deleted from the human psyche. Take, for instance, the death of a loved one in the family. Sure, it hurts at first, but eventually, no one cares and you forget. End of story...All relationships are expendible.

" Take, for instance, the death of a loved one in the family. Sure, it hurts at first, but eventually, no one cares and you forget. " Not exactly true. I still think about people that passed away as long as 11 or 12 years ago. There is rarely a day that goes by that I remember all the people I've lost.

I consider you an intelligent young man, Chris. But you're doing a good job of hiding it on this one. Not only do you show your ignorance your post is heartless. Love you.

I'd have to say you've never lost anyone you loved....furthermore, maybe you've never loved someone.

I'm not sure which applies here, ignorance or pain. "Sure, it hurts at first, but eventually, no one cares and you forget." My mom has been gone 23 years, and it still hurts sometimes. Forget? never!

Well, not to add to any negative comments, but in response to that post, I would just say that's a really negative outlook on life. You could say that's reality, and I wouldn't agree with that either, because the truth is, yes, if you were close enough to someone, you're always going to hurt for them.
