Well, my mother forced me to go to Wal-Mart with her today. Bad idea. We both had a horrible experience, because it is the day before school starts and there were a million people in their on top of the million that are already in there :sigh:... and people ask me why I don't like Wal-Mart? It wouldn't be as bad if the management was straitenned out and the parents of the unrully kids running around in front of me all the time would maybe make them behave? If I had ever done anything like that when I was 6-10, my parents would have left everything behind and taken me home. No discussion. Parents just need to learn to discipline their children without violence. It isn't that difficult. My parents did it.

Rough hands, dirty clothes, the smell of wood chips, sweat drenched shirt, tan skin, 98 degree weather. I'm not purposed to spend my days inside, either at a desk in front of a computer or vacuuming a big building all day. The incredible sense of accomplishment that comes from being outside working all the strength in my body to destroy dead stumps. I'm worn out, but I feel incredible.

ohhh the bliss! lol. i came over to shelby's house... we "watched" Million Dollar Baby. ewe both actually fell asleep. hehe. anyways... we had pizza for lunch and then we headed to the mall. i got a pillow thing for my bed at schoo. heck yes!! anyways... i'll talk to you guys later. ilu. oh... and comments are appreciated. ;) ~Hopes

I'm moving out!!!! I get my keys to my apartment on aug. 21, which is my birthday! I'm so excitied!!!!

heres a story. so i work at ruby tuesday as a hostess. two guys walk in and one decides to grab my butt. so i yell....a lot. and he tries to deny it, while stuttering like most idiots do. I chug their menus across some tables onto a booth and the whole place gets quiet. my brother, who is a server, sees it. after that, a whole lot of commotion goes on between them and my bro. then..he goes up to my manager and said "Okay one of two scenarios is going to happen. Either Im about to get fired, or you are going to talk to them." So they had to hold all the cooks back in the kitchen, cause they decided they were going to get a piece of the action. my manager talked to the two guys and then kicked them out. Why did I not kick him in the balls? I definitely regret my decision to just yell. oh well....ladies...if it happens to you....dont hesitate.

Well I am kissing summer goodbye until next year. This has been the best summer yet that i've had. So many good times...I wish it wouldn't end. I will be excited about the first half day of school tomorrow. But once I get back and see everybody and what classes I have and with whome I have them with then it will get boring and i'll be ready for summer to start back again....its like that for me every year. I know Junior year will be tough even though i'm not exactly taking SUPER challenging classes like alot of my friends (I like to make it as easy as possible on myself...mostly b/c i'm just lazy). Well sOoOo many ppl are pissed at me right now......and I seriously don't know why but I'm starting to get mad........Well I put those pictures up from the church picnic.......they are like totally screwed up but you know.......anyways........not much to say.........

Well, I'm sure you have all heard by now that I finally broke down and went to the doctor. After a week, the knot had yet to go down any. So, I figured, for a variety of reasons, that I would go ahead and get it x-rayed. Well, we were correct in assuming that there were no broken/fractured bones. I wish you could have seen the looks on the doctor's face when he saw my arm. It really has looked gross.

Anyway, the emergency room doctor couldn't explain the knot. So, he referred me to an orthopedic doctor. The knot is merely a collection of blood and fluids that have collected in that spot to try and heal the muscle, which I apparently bruised pretty badly. Anyway, he now has me in therapy to try and work out the soreness and in hopes of working out the knot. I was given silly puddy to play with at least 3 times a day! Even after 2 weeks my arm is still significantly swollen. So, therapy right now is still considered majorly conservative. I have another therapy appointment tomorrow (Thursday) and another meeting with my orthopedic on Friday. If something hasn't happened by Friday we are apparently going to do something different. So, its been interesting. I will need to take another picture for y'all to see how little progress we have made in the week and half that I've been home. It has changed a lot since the picture that is up there now. Its weird because since therapy the bruising has become more noticeable. Anyway, just thought I would let y'all know how it is progressing.

You should be happy Tag, now that I have gone to the doctor. I'm glad I didn't waste time doing all this in NY though. Later y'all!

Well I went and got my permit and I passed!!! I missed two. When I missed the second question I started to freak out and thought that I was going to fail the whole test. I was so nervous I was shaking and praying that I would pass and I did it. Just to tell yall that that was the easiest test that I ever took. The first question was rediculous. It said ....What is the car in the picture called.....a.trailor b.automobile c.motorcycle...........duh b. The whole thing was easy.

After that me and mom went to cracker barrel and bought a milk shake. Then we went home and I got my first driving lessons....not really.... more like my tenth....sshhh!!! Well I have driven down the drive way and out on our farm. We drove around the Blackman area.

I was practicing parking in the Blackman High parking lot( I need help on parking) when I got ready to turn onto the road leaving the parking lot these two high school guys were riding their bikes and heading my way and my mom said "act cool katie" well I forgot to turn my signal on I acentdential(sp) turned on the windshill wipers on. The two guys looked at me and I just laughed and laughed so hard.

Well this is the longest entry I have ever done. Oh also me and Keaton have a lot of classes together in high school and I am really excited about that. Well got to go now. Love yall.

21 days between me and the states!
i'm anxious to get home and see what my apartment looks like. so my roommate decides to just up and get rid of my house and move us both to an apartment in town. something about spores or asthma or something. i think he went a little crazy living by himself while i'm gone. so much for privacy and fireworks. now i'm living under a youth pastor and his family. nothing against them but there's a certain amount of noise that comes w/ a group of college guys. i really don't think it's gonna fly too well. we'll see.
have u ever had a moment of clarity? like when a situation is out of control or frustrating or whatnot and it's just like things stop and everything becomes very clear for a moment. i had one of those today while i was working. is this making any sense at all?

mmmmmm the concert was great BUT there is a story..........

ok we left the house and went and picked up rachel and then we dropped off ransey with memaw at sams then we headed to smyrna to meet moms friend sandy somewhere overr there so doot doot doo *driving* and all of a sudden there is a chick in a white car is coming towards us from the exit ramp...fast im sitting in the shotgun seat and thats the way shes goin mom swearves to miss her but ha it didnt work ya we knew she was gonna hit us and she did so ya cops and 2 fire trucks and an ambulance mom broke her wrist.. not sure how but ya rach is ok but she hit her arm on something and was fine just a lil swolen so mom called sandy and she came and hung out at the... scene of the crime lol but ya we ended up takin mom to the er at stone crest which was a convient 1/2 mile away so we dropped her off and she insisted we go to the concert memaw came to the hospital and got her and hung out at the er for a few hours so yeah the concert ended up being really really great earth wind and fire gave the best show ever but i still love chicagos music more but oh yeah a new earth wind and fire fan was born so sandy took us all home and the night ended a lil less dramatic than it started well im kinda tired so ill ttyl

So i was scooping Ice cream today and I bent the apartments spoon. but fortunatly, i fixed it also . . .

I was completly lazy today after our meeting this morning. I slept for like 4 hours today and then sat in front of the TV on the computer.

so. tonight was uber-fun. went to Freshman orientation. man. so many people. it looks like a decent crowd. so i'm excited about school starting. i miss all of my friends. i completely misjudged DBS. i mean, i didn't think it was horrible to begin with, but i was just uneasy. i really learned a lesson tonight in not judging people by their appearances. see, tonight was the skating party, and i wasn't even gonna go, because i thought all the older girls were snobby. but i was completely wrong. i just made my assumptions based on the way they looked, and i was completely blown away by how sweet and normal everyone was. so i'm really excited. another thing that was bothering me was that i was afraid that i was supposed to live up to some kind of expectations that these girls would have of me, or like i wouldn't be accepted, and then i realized that i've been being "just Cari" all year, and they still rushed me, so i don't really have anything to worry about. Satan totally tries to use my insecurities to keep me from learning and growing, and tonight i really realized that and was able to overcome that. it was so cool today too, how i was so worried about all the money issues and stuff, and i opened up my Bible, and the verse i came to was the one about how God provides for the lilies of the field and the birds, and how much more he cares for me and how i shouldn't worry about those things because God is Jehovah Jireh, God my provider. so. i'm thinkin all is well for now home-skillets. thanks for all the advice and comments. ------Cari

so. i have been moving ALL day. feels like the longest day EVER. but i finally have everything out of my old apartment and into my new. now to unpack! must get done tonight... tomorrow i work... then we're heading to ohio... and on thursday we're going to CEDAR POINT!!! (waaaay excited. i've been waiting my whole life for this)... coming home late thursday... working friday... then picking up the yl girls to stay with me friday night! so yes, the unpacking must be done now. this place is creepy. no one else lives out here - i am not a fan. twice now i have heard loud thuds/crashes... but there's NO ONE ELSE HERE!!! what the heck.
so yeah. the next few days are exciting! saturday i'm sure i'll have lots of catching up with life to do. and sunday carla and lashlee are coming!!!!!!!!! they stay till thursday when darin and i travel back with them to tennessee! :) where we will stay until we leave the next saturday to pick up his sister, kady, in michigan before heading back to school!.......

back to hanging clothes and stuffing corners. this room is tiny....

God is truly amazing!

Band camp... days one two... were freaking tiring. Marching for three hours at a time isn't too fun. But, it is fun playing ultimate fresbee for an hour and a half. I played two games after lunch and after supper. YAY!

Anyway, we have three songs learned, music and drill, so, that kicks butt. Marching is sooooooooooooooooo fun!!! The only bad part is the heat and the fact that Mr. Rhody only gave us one water break tonight. A whole freaking hour and a half of no H2O... That sucked.

I have resorted to eating two meals a day instead of one, because band is so demanding. Yes, I may get fatter, but, I'll just cut back afterwards. That way, I will become thinner again.

Anyway, I will let you all go.

Well I got up today at 8 to go babysit! Had fun! Got home about 3 and ate, watched tv....

Then went to field hockey at 6:10 to find out I am an hour early. So my mom took me to Subway ( yummy )
Then we came back and I ran. ( fun fun ) After that we had our game. ( not a real game just for fun ) We played the 7th grade team at barret. I must say they are better then we were last year but we still won. 0 to 3 or 4. I forgot! Well thats all I did today.

so monday morning was ADK rush and it was sooo awesome.not only did i rush my two best friends but i just had a ton of fun.....monday night was the dance at Stampeade and that was awesome and tomorrow is a Lula which will be awesome like always.....im really excited about the pledges this year it seems like we got a bunch of great girls this year......GO ADK!!!!

so yeah i've also been babysitting all week so far and that's been pretty cool just been chilling with my two favorite little girls yeah pretty sure they rock......i think i might have missed them the 3 weeks i didn't keep them....lol.....oh what i would give to be there age again.....

yeah school starts thursday im really not excited about it but i can't wait to see some of my friends again....so it should be okay.....

So tonight was freshman orientation...umm yall can officially say im gonna get LOST! lol i fel tlike i was keep going in circles and i was just lookin at all the ppl and not payin attention to my classes...o well i never pay attention to anything...i gotta work on that tho so i can get a scholarship and get outta this hell hole..and become a music producer! -back to tonight- haha well i saw like umm maybe 3 cute guys...there was this one..mMm lol ..i felt SO stupid! the principal was talkin to me and i was lookin at everyone and off in LaLa land and she was just talkin away and my dad was like...Jack...JACK! i was like huh? but yea i met some cool ppl...you can say im gonna be the kid sittn in the hall cuz i cant find my way around! lol well im excited!

Yeah, thats right. I saw a cat on valium today. My mom's friend had moved into this new house and the cat freaked out. So she took the cat to the vet and they gave the cat a prescribtion for valium. Truely an amaizing experience.

I wish i could drive. I really want to go get look-look magazine, and i want to go to fossil, and some other stores. i need new clothes. I also need another magazine holder.

Just realized something... I am THAT GIRL... You know the one... the one who can have all problems fixed if you just give her Chocolate Ice Cream (preferably with peanut butter). Serious... all my problems can be solved with that. If I am sad or lonely, stressed or just BLAH... bring me some chocolate peanut butter Ice cream and I am good. ;) That's the way life should be. Of course there are other superficial things that can help too but Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream will always work.

So today Jenny and I went to Big Nick's (yes, Carla...this is the same restaurant that Aaron took us to when we came) and we sat outside. The weather was so nice. I hope Fall is on it's way because I can't wait!!! The whole thing made me think of "You've Got Mail". It made me want to buy newly sharpened pencils and daisies.

School is starting back up for all my friends back home and for the first time I will not be attending with them. I love this time of year! Anyone up for a game of Tag Football. And soon it will be the holidays and I will get to go home and see my Family.

Well 7:22 tonight, im pretty pumped, hopefully some of you guys will be at my house pretty soon!

Ok, I can never live in a house with stairs ever again. Either that, or I just need to learn how to walk.

or so the banner in my yard says...so yeah, i had a great time last night. lots of people, lots of fun. i really am excited about being a part of DBS, but for some reason i'm feeling such a sense of unrest. i've never really felt this way before. i need you guys to pray for me. see, my family is running super-low on money right now. i don't even know if we can afford the initiation fee. i can cover half, but i don't know about the rest. i almost feel like this isn't God's will for my life right now. i guess i just need to pray about it. but i'm still pretty excited. it's nice to feel special for once. see, i didn't know that not only does your Big Sister rush you, but you have to be voted on and everything. and i was voted in. so for once, i was someone's first choice. yay rah. but i realized something else as well. i am really lacking in my relationship with God. like, i realized last night that the reason i may be feeling the way i do is because i haven't really spent time with Him at all lately. so i think i'm gonna go do a quiet time now. bye guys. ---Cari

Ah, so, yesterday was Operation: Closet Overhaul for Christina. She worked from 2 - 7 completely emptying and rearranging and cleaning out her closet and dresser. It was quite tiring, and it left a great deal of debris scattered about her room - but her closet is immaculate. And today she and the mum and sister did a bit of back to school shopping, and at 2:30 she has yet another dentist appointmet (one of four this month).

School is just around the riverbend....Christina is quite excited. She has yet to finish Their Eyes Were Watching God, but she'll get to it eventually.

You know, Christina just now realized she is writing in third person. Ah, well. These things do happen.

To my New Yorkers: I don't know if I will ever be able to adequately express what each of you have meant to me. I know I have only known you for a very short time. Some of you I have only had limited interaction with. However, even the few short days, hours, and minutes we spent together carry lasting impressions on my heart. There is no doubt that this was part of God's plan for my life. I miss you guys so much. I wouldn't be too disappointed if a return trip to New York was in my future! Company members will present performances reflecting the highest standards of excellence throughout Middle Tennessee and represent Murfreesboro in regional and national dance competitions. We invite all dancers ages 7 to 18 to audition and be a part of a winning team!

i don't know why, but everytime school's starting back up i get nervous. why? i have know idea. maybe i'm afraid my friends will have changed, maybe i've changed, maybe it's because i know i'll meet new people, or because i'm getting new teachers who knows?

Well i just got back from the last summer vacation! I know school starts on Thursday! Im happy but then again im not!

I found out that my dad left for a month w/ the national guard! He new that he was leaving and he didn't tell me! IT really ticked me off! He will be gone until september! He probably wont even call me and it has made me really upset and the fact that i had to hear it from my stepmom and he couldnt call me and tell me that he was gonna leave doesn't make any sense to me at all!

Well all i have to go unpack!

i'm at work, which is the only place i have time to write on here. I miss jared... he comes back on friday- very very excited about that. Just out of curiosity if anyone reads this... are there ever times that no matter how much you pray or read the word or beg... you still don't feel like God is there? I mean, you know he is, but it's like he just wont make his presence known to you. I definitely feel that way now. I am so frustrated. I feel so distant but i dont know why. I want a fire in me for God like i've never known before. I realize i'm not going to "feel" God all the time because it's not all about that, but i want to feel for him. please pray for me.

i heard on the news why summer is soo short now and what they honestly said is bc they have to make up for the percent of education not achieved in the summer aka they think we become brain dead therefor we have to go to school early...so i guess why tenn. makes us read idiotic books is so that way we don't become brain dead and go back to school brainless (its for our benefit)...NEWS FLASH obviously im not brain dead and i have not been reading all summer!!!!! why are there sooo many stupid people in the world that call themselved "educated"?!?!?!?!!? idk nor will i ever know.

mom has finally gone back to school!!!!!!! im soo glad she is away!!!!!!! and i unfortunately found out about my schedule and guess who has senior english...Mrs. James....still don't quite know what to think about that??? and then i found out that art 1 is very crowded this year and im suppose to have Mrs. Morgan..but i could get switched to mrs. Z and i really really really reallly don't want her...people have told me bad things about her view on seniors in art only for the credit.

Hey boys and girls im back from michagain and im so glad to be home!!!! ok lets see

First thing i did when i got to michagain i ran into my grandparents guest room and turned on the tv and watched tv, lol i know not very fun

Then the next day we went to our hotel in south haven which is an hour away from my grandparents and i thought the hole reason why i was there was to see them but whatever.

Then monday my aunt becky showed up, then my unlce jeff with my cousin jeff lol then we all hung out at the pool and went out to EAT!!!!!!

Tuesday was crazy my aunt got drunk and got in a fight with my mom and it was funny and stuff......then every buddy got in a fight then it got gay so we just went to bed and stuff and did nothing.

Wed. we just sat around at our hotel and played Xbox well me and my cousin did every one else was in a diff hotel room being retarded

Thursday my Unlce jeff and my cousin Jeff left, so i had a hotel room to my self just to sit there and be bored so yeah thats basicly all thursday was just me sitting in a empty room

Friday we checked out and went back to my grandparents house and hung out there

Saturday we went to my aunts house and hung out with her friends then we went back to my grandparents and packed and stuff

Sunday i came home and now im home!!!!! i went to the mall monday and got a Fall Out Boy t-shirt and an Atticus T-shirt, and i got my hair trimed u cant even tell i got my hair cut it sucks but oh well

today idk what im gonna do but i will find something to do well keep it real bye

long, i know, but read on...

whew. thank goodness i am finally home. yeah, so i was supposed to be home yesterday afternoon. but let me tell you why i just got home this morning...

to get to delaware there are a couple connecting flights. you have to fly into philly, then into this small town in maryland. so after our short flight, with no problems from maryland, we arrived in philly. we went to our gate and waited for the flight before ours to leave. well, their flight got delayed due to maintance. our flight was scheduled to leave at 2:15. it was like 1 something, so it seemed we would only PERHAPS be leaving a little late, if at all. so this maintance turned into a tire change. so they said as soon as they boarded those people we could get on our flight. so finally, about 40 minutes after our scheduled departure time we got on the plane. so we got up to the runway, and apparently it was backed up.

and the guy said we were like number 40 something...the wait: 45 minutes to an hour. okay, kinda stressful, but not too bad. so there were some kids behind me...they were loud and kept hitting my chair. but i stayed patient and did not say a word. well, during this wait, it began to rain. so then they tell us they don't know when we would be able to leave. so bascially, to make this long, annoying story short, we sat on the runway for 6 HOURS!!! then, we were told our flight was going to get re-routed..but we had to get more fuel first. yeah right. liars!!! they took us back to the terminal, told us to grab our stuff, got us inside then told us our flight was cancelled. okay, so after 6 hours, annoying kids, and a migraine, i was still not home and stuck in philly until the morning. we had to sleep in the airport. okay, so we STAYED in the airport, no sleep involved. it was freezing and they were eventually, at like 2am nice enough to bring us pillows and these space blankets, which were seriously a peice of silver plastic.

and when people were wrapped up in them , trying to find warmth, they looked like aliens or baked potatoes. BUT i am home now. and praise God, because i learned patience like no other.

so because of being up for over 24 hours, i am going to sleep. i hope everyone has a great day, especially my friends that are luckeee enough to go to 722. you better be thinking of me when you see louie!!!

well last night we went bowling. it was so much fun. i suck at it though..well today is my lil sister's bday.. mine is in 6 days!!! there are about a zillion bdays in August.. cool people were born in this month!!!!

we ate popcorn

we wrestled

we played soccer in our barefeet

we had pillow fights

we fell asleep on the floor

and then i drove home

quite productive night if i do say so myself

i am going to become a writer for Cosmo. you dno't have to make any sense at all. or maybe i'll be a bloke. they don't have to make any sense either.

Ok, So I was making a new Phusebox for my friend cause she didn't feel like dealing with it. But, I had a major error occur. Even though I did Sign out and close out of the trademarkofdoom account, It still edited my profile to be hers, so I had to go back and re-do my entire account, AND I'm registered as a new user despite being on here for the past 3 months. That Sucks!
