studying...

Or not studying.  What I'm doing instead of studying.  Shhhh.  Don't tell Mr. Huffman.

Anyways.

I have now entered the scratchy-throat-one-wimpy-cough-every-four-seconds stage of my combination allergies from hell and sinus infection.

I object!  To... everything.  So there.

Speaking of objecting: we're starting our mock Supreme Court trials in JROTC.  Exciting, no?  Our first trial is tomorrow.  The issue in question:  Should a woman who has given up her child for adoption be allowed to regain custody after the adoptive parents have obtained custody?

Or something that means about the same thing.  Two teams of "attorneys" will argue against each other.  I'm either a judge or a spectator tomorrow.  I don't have to try a case until next week.  Justin Bingham and I are arguing against Clinton Holladay and Kristin Michaels over whether or not a man should be able to get a court order to stop his wife from aborting their child [Justin and I are arguing the "yes" side].

Kristin and I picked that case because we could both see both sides of the argument.  We've even been helping each other find precedents and laws to bolster our arguments.

Something tells me we wouldn't actually make good lawyers.  :p

I say "no" to the adoption b/c they gave them up and unless they can prove they were temporaily insane they shouldn't get the baby back and even then you shouldn't give it to them b/c they are crazy.
