i've always thought that the opinion column would be pretty dang cool. but when i sat back and thought about it, i dont really know if it's what i wanna do.

Well, a reporter states the facts, and the opinion columnist gets to say whatever is one their mind and tell everyone else why they should agree with them! I personally would rather be an opinion columnist, but you should do what you want to do. If you like researching and learning other people's stories, you'd probably be a good reporter, but if you need less of a time commitment and want the ability to express your opinion, then opinion is probably the way to go. Hope that helps! I wanna read whatever you write!

I would go for the opinion columnist... but... i tend to be opinionated...

maybe when you thought about it, you questioned not if you wanted to do that, but if you could do that. because that requires you to be honest and put yourself out there. and takes more thought... and in a way more skill. and i think that you could do that! and me being opinionated like nathan, i think that would be something fun to do. i think you should do what you really want to do with full confidence in whatever you decide.

I would definitely go with the opinion. It would be fun and it would challenge you a bit.Plus you don't have to worry about getting stuck covering the questionable contents of the dumpster in the dark secluded corner of campus.
