Who Knew...

That in one weekend you can meet and bond with so many new people,

AND
grow closer than ever before to your boyfriend of (almost) two and a half years?

Relationships, friendships, companionship... they are truley important things in our lives. I love meeting new people and growing closer to those that I already know. There's just... something... about that special connection...

I know God purposely created us to be this way, because we are created in His image, and He desires an intimate relationship with us. Why don't we sit down and take the time to be with Him? I know I don't do it enough. But I don't want to be that way anymore. I want to enjoy fellowship with my awesome Creator, the one who gave me fellowship with my earthly friends...

Like I said, reality slap for all, lol. A friend of mine told me that I was a "Bourban Democrat". . . in other words, a conservative Democrat. Or liberal Republican. Same thing. Socially, more or less, I'm with the Repubican party, with an exception or two on certain issues. Economically, I tend to lean toward a Democratic view. After talking with my dad and grandfather, I started reading up on Ford and later Corker. I will be honest and say that something about Corker rubs me the wrong way. I don't know what it is, but I had the same feeling about John Kerry in the Presidential Elections in 2004. Is that a solid reason to vote for Ford? Not really, but hey, at least I'm voting and doing my best to form my own opinions about political figures. Go America.
