I was trying to be funny with the 5-year-old thing. The wording just made it too easy to pass up. I went back and added a note that I was joking, though, since it's impossible to tell that I wasn't being serious. Maybe I shoudl start using fake tags like [sarcasm] sarcastic statement [/sarcasm] so people can know what tone of voice is intended. So much is lost in text.
