Sonnet 1 of "One Life, One Chance"
April 20 2006
There is a message to be heard today,
For you only have one life to live.
There may be only one last chance for me to say,
That I want to tell you it is time to give,
Jesus Christ your everything since He is the only way.
It is time for us all to ignite our passion and to keep the flame lit,
And it is time for us to quit letting Satan hinder us in our walk
For we need to be more like God, more than just a little bit,
We need to truly act and live and talk,
The way God would have us to.
To everyone who belives that I posted those satanic looking posts!!!!!!
April 17 2006
Those posts that everyone says that I wrote, How could I write them if I wasn't even near a computer that day? I only have access to the internet at school, I went on a field trip that day, I didn't get back until 6th period, and there are no computers in my 6th period. People in my 4th period and 2nd period classes sit around the computers all the time, do you think they may have figured out my Password.... I bet I forgot to log off of phusebox the day before...I don't know and I don't really care as long as people quit saying that I posted those satanic looking posts.
Jesus went through so much for us
April 10 2006
He took massive beatings for us,
He stood there and let himself be mocked and ridculed on our behalf,
He carried the cross the Gasemane so we would be spared,
He died on the cross so that we might have eternal life in Him,
And He rose again on the third day so that all of His people will know that He truely is the son of GOD.
This is my short sermon for Fine Arts...

Igniting your Passion
As we look upon the moral decay that runs rampant in our society, …as we see the confusion and compromise that afflicts so many Christians, …As we witness God's progressive judgment on the world and the church, …What do we do? …How do we respond?
In Romans 10:2-3, Paul says, " I know what enthusiasm they have for God, but it is misdirected zeal. They don't understand God's way of making people right with himself. Instead, they are clinging to their own way of getting right with God…"
God has a unique call and purpose for all of our lives. He wants us to break out of this mediocrity, …in order to step into a life of purpose and vision, …fulfilling the task he has set before us.
The time has come for us to recognize that we are in a spiritual battle with the forces of darkness, who want nothing other than to steal, kill, and destroy us. We need to rise up, …reject the discouraging words of Satan, …and acquire the enthusiasm to go out into the world and make a difference in someone else's life.
God can help ignite our passion, but it's up to us to keep the flame lit.
We can ignite our passion by not being "Normal".
Normal Christians are those who go through the routine of church. But, in order to ignite our passion we have to become radical in walk.
When we become radical, there will be a difference in the way we worship, the way we speak, the way we act, the way we think, and the way we pray.
Being passionate means being Persistent in our faith, having a positive Attitude, Seeking God through our prayer and the reading of his word, practicing Servant hood, showing Integrity, being Obedient to the word of God, and not being Normal Christians.
When we're Persistent in our faith…God will help us become passionate.
When we have a positive Attitude toward our Christian family and for the lost… we're being an encouragement to them, by showing them how much we care.
When we Seek the face of Almighty God…how many of us know that we become so close to God that we can accomplish anything that we set our minds to?
When we Serve the Lord with enthusiasm …God will give us the heart of a servant. When he gives us a heart of a servant, we will be able to accomplish many great things for the kingdom of Heaven.
When we truly become individuals of Integrity… we can expect to do all of the wonderful things God has called us to do.
When we're Obedient the word of God…God pours out so many blessings on us. Not only that, but without obedience to the word of God, we couldn't be persistent, have a positive attitude for those around us, seek the face of God, be a servant, or be someone of integrity.
And when we quit being Normal Christians… we can accomplish much more for the kingdom of Heaven than before.
The Apostle Paul begs us in Ephesians 4:1-6, "Lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowances for each other's faults because of your love. Always keep yourself united in the Holy Spirit, and bind yourself together with peace. We are all one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have been called to the same glorious future. There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and there is only one God and Father, who is over us all and in us all and living through us all."
When we ignite our passion, we will be able to live a life worthy of our calling.
Another way we can ignite our passion is if we stop being so negative all the time.
If all we do is complain, complain, complain…we are just going to keep going nowhere that much faster…because those with negative attitudes won't go anywhere in their walk with Christ.
Negativity robs us from our blessings. If we keep letting the things of this world hinder us, we won't be able to take the next step in our faith.
We need to ignite our passion so that we can always be a positive example for someone to look up to.
Ladies and Gentlemen: we need to follow the example Paul has shown us and ignite our passion for God.
We need to ignite our passion so that when the time comes, we won't be hesitant and procrastinate on what God has called us to do.
James 4:14 Says, "How do you know what will happen tomorrow? For your life is like the morning fog--it's here a little while, then it's gone."
We only have one life to live and it's time to ignite our passion, for we may only have one chance to let our light shine for some individuals.
A missionary named John Greddie ignited his passion by spending twenty-four years evangelizing in a foreign country. His tome stone reads, "When he landed in 1848 there were no Christian, when he left in 1872 there were no heathen."
The time has come for us to set aside the mundane, to set aside the normal, to become zealous, and ignite our passion for God.
Time to make a difference
March 22 2006
Something good happened last night. I can't explain it, but yet I can.
I went to Encounter last night and Pastor Dan talked about making a difference in other people's lives. See, I have been working on a Short Sermon for Fine Arts but I coudn't really get what God was trying to say to me. Well, after being at Encounter last night, I realized something very important....I need to step it up a noch or two and quit being the same old person that I was yesterday. I need to quit being "Normal" and quit being "Negative". God does use normal people, but He helps them to get out of the "Normal" attitude of todays society and into a Spiritual attitude. If I keep being so "Negative" all the time, I am just going to keep going nowhere fast. It's time for me to step it up a noch and ignite my passion for God.

To All Of my Friends on Phusebox...
February 02 2006
I have So many Friends on Phusebox now that I can't Say this to you as individuals right now.......HELLO...How are all of you? My week has been so great that I don't know where to begin. Okay, Here goes:
Sunday- My mom came to church, I was an usher for both morning services, I got to spend time with my mom for the first time since CHRISTmas, the guest musician who came told the entire congregation that God told him to buy me and my foster brothers a brand new suit, and he told everyone to buy his CD's and his books so he could give all of the money to me and my foster brothers to buy a brand new computer.
Monday- I said some things and did some things that I shouldn't have done, yet God gave me His favor....I didn't get in as much trouble as I should have.
Tuesday- My day was just awsome. I didn't have hardly anything to do in ALL of my classes. God helped me a little with my short sermon. (of course it's not done yet, we are still working on it)
Wednesday- I left school at 2:00pm to go to church for a fews minute until the pastor showed up, he drove me and my foster brothers to Nashville to meet with David Bayerly ( the guy who said he was going to buy us some suits), he bought us each a brand new suit, we got the suits tailored, Pastor Darla's uncle gave David Bayerly the money to buy all of us a brand new pair of dress shoes, (my uncle gave me and my biological brother three pairs of black dress socks), and I went to church to praise God for how much He has blessed me this week
Today- I don't know yet. I did start the day off by thanking God for how much He blessed my life since I became a Christian.

Happiness keeps you sweet,
Trials keep you strong,
Sorrows keep you human,
Failures keep you humble,
Success keeps you glowing,
But only God keeps you growing. One Life One Chance
January 19 2006
Our Fine Arts theme this year is One Life One Chance. I am doing a short sermon on this theme ,but I only have a few scriptures and no message. I need a lot of prayer ......that God will give me a message to go with the scriptures ....and I need a lot of prayer about other things too. I am thinking about using James 4: 14 as the main scripture. I have other scriptures, but I don't know how to use them yet, or if I am going to use them at all. These scriptures are:
Luke 12: 13-21
Ephesians 4: 1-6
Romans 12:2
James 4: 14 and 17
The short sermon needs to be about 5 minutes long, so I need God to show me how He wants me to to this.

A PURE MIND
January 04 2006
Sometimes we go through things that make us feel like there is no hope or that there is no way out. Sometimes we feel that there is nothing that we can do about whatever it is that is making us feel that way. In order to be victorious over these things, we must keep a pure mind. Yeah, I know that it is hard to keep a pure mind, but Jesus says in His word that we must keep a pure mind if we want to be victorious in life. Here's how to keep a pure mind:
A cknowledge our vulneralbility to God.
P ray for God's help.
U ndo old thought processes.
R estrict what we view.
E clipse bad thoughts with good thoughts.
M ake ourselves accountable to a CHRISTIAN friend.
I magine ourselves resisting temptation.
N ever despair when we fall.
D on't entertain impure thoughts that pop into our minds.
Never Give Up!!!
December 16 2005
Many times, I hear christians say that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Well, it's true. The bible tells us that He is and it says that He is our friend.......our BEST FRIEND. Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. Jesus Christ never changes. As a matter of fact, we sometimes feel that He has moved Himself away from us. He isn't the one who moved. I say it again, Jesus Christ is not the one who moved.
Sometimes we find ourselves at a point where we are so on fire for God that we feel that nothing can separate us from Him. Yet, sometimes we find ourselves so far down that we feel that we will never be able to come back to Him; that we don't have any hope for forgiveness.
I tell you this, NEVER GIVE UP.....DON"T GIVE UP, because God does care about you and how you feel. Just let God be here for you, because He is a perfect gentleman. He isn't giong to make you come back to Him, but he will let you come back to Him. God will always be here for you. Just put all of your hope and trust in Him and give Him your everything. God wants to bless each and every one of us. The bible says that His bleesings are like putting flour in a container. When you but the flour in a container pack it down and put more in it, eventually the container will over flow if you keep putting more and more flour in it. That is the same way God pours out His blessings on us.
I just want to give Him all the praise for everything that He has done for me.
---Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever--------Amen!!!!!
Everyday things that make me feel good
December 16 2005
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the father except through Christ Jesus.
December 15 2005
Everytime I hear this verse,
I think about what I can do for the kingdom of Heaven.
I think about how someone reached out to me and told me about Christ and His great love.
I think about how I can be a help in telling others the Good News about God's wonderful kindness and love.
I am a friend of God
December 14 2005
Have you ever thought about what life would be like if the world was the way you wanted it to be? Have you ever thought about how the world would be if you were the only person in the world? Have you ever thought about things like "Where do I fit in, or Why does this kind of thing always happen to me?" Have you ever thought about what would happen if ................? I had all kinds of questions like these before I started going to church. I have been going to church for almost three years now, and every time I go I learn so much more than what I knew the day before. Church isn't just about seeing your friends that you haven't seen since last week, about making sure that you always have a smile on your face every you come, or about trying to find somewhere to go on Sundays and Wedsendays. It is about having a place to go when you want to be around christian role models who will always be an encouragement to you; but most importantly church is about having a place to go to worship God, and to give Him ALL the honor and glory and praise.
Having church and having a really good relationship with God the Father are two completely different things. Don't get me wrong though, but from the way I see it......it is. When you have church, you basically just go through the emotions. You come to church, go down to the alter, and then forget about what happened the day before. But when you have a really good relationship with God, you won't just be going through the emotions and forgetting about your time at the alter. When you have a really good relationship with God, you have a best friend that will always be there for you even when you don't realize that He is here for you.
Enoch had so good of a relationship with God that he was considered a friend of God and was taken into Heaven to be with Him. Elijah also had a really good relationship with God. When he earnestly prayed that it wouldn't rain, God listened to him and closed the floodgates of Heaven. Then, when Elijah prayed again, God opened the floodgates of Heaven and it began to rain. Elijah spent three solid years without rain before he had decided to pray for the rain. Anyways, Everyone here on Earth could have a relationship with God just like Elijah and Enoch did. But to have a really good relationship wtih Him, you must be obedient to Him. You must stay in your word and you must always make time out of your schedule to spend time with Him; not just at church....................I know that this is long, but I just want to be obedient to God by sharing all of this.
I know that there are a lot of people in the world who have questions like the ones I used to have, which is why I need to be someone who can be a light to them and tell them the good news about the Lord Jesus Christ. First of all, God sent His son to be a light to all peoples; Jew and gentile alike. Second, God sent His son to die on the cross so that we could have a chance to be forgiven for ALL of our sins. Jesus willingly suffered so that we would have a chance to come to knew the Father and be saved from the firery flames of Hell. Third, God rose His son on the third day so that ALL could see that Jesus is Lord and that Death, Hell and the grave have NO power over Him. The bible says that Jesus appeared to His deciples during the forty days afer His crucifixion. It also says that sometime before He accended to Heaven, He had his deciples go to a room where they were to stay for a while after He accended to Heaven. Jesus told them that He would give them a gift and a comforter. When Jesus accended to Heaven, the Holy Spirit came down upon them and they were filled with the Holy Ghost; speaking in languages that they never spoke before. Since the time that they recieved the gift of the Holy Spirit, they were able to accomplish so many great things for the kingdom of God.......................
Yeah... this is long, but I am trying to cut this short. God loves everyone and wants to be here for anyone who will let Him.
