i had to write an opera (well... part of one ) for my intro to music class. it was rather late at night and well... here is how it turned out...

“The Dove”

Opening Chorus

            Happy is she when she is in love

            Her heart – it flutters, it flies

            Her love is more beautiful that a winged dove

            A winged dove in the clear April skies

Recitative (to be sung by Jane)

and i've contrived some sort of a plan to help my fellow man
let's get emotional girls to all wear mood rings
so we'll be tipped off to when they're ticked off
cause we'll know just what they're thinking
cause what they're thinking...

she's so pretty but she but doesn't always act that way
her mood's out swinging on the swing set almost every day
she said to me that she's so stressed out that it's soothing
and all i said was "someone get that girl a mood ring"

cause when it's black (it) means watch your back because you're probably
the last person in the world right now she wants to see
and when it's blue it means that you should call her up immediately
and ask her out because she'll most likely agree
and when it's green it simply means that she is really stressed
and when it's clear it means she's completely emotionless (and that's all right i must confess)

we all know the girls that i am talking about
she liked you wednesday but now it's friday and she has to wash her hair
and it just figures that we'll never figure them out
first she's jekyll and then she's hyde....at least she makes a lovely pair

so over Christmas break i sat flipping through all the gun mag's that stack up beside my father's armchair, as my mother walked over. i happened to be perusing the blue press in which the new calander for the year was introduced

for those of you who may be unfamiliar with press the general premise of the calendar is gorgeous, "well-proportioned" females holding really large, antique, or especially fun guns

it was at this point that mom said, "hey they should get you for that!"

now as much fun as the guns would be for me....i laughed.....

then so did she

so we all know that kim and i are close

in fact we're REALLY close

but some times the scarry part is just how ALIKE we are

we will respond in the same manner without thought and
often reply to people at the smae time in the EXACT same words

the people we meet often either confuse us or can't tell us apart

which is kinda understandable

we like the same things

often feel the same way

think the same way

which can sometimes produce difficult situations

but we still love each other

but hey ok enough about us
i mean
it's not like we like to take pictures of ourselves

the buttload of new pictures is from spring break when kim and i went with her parents to Fort Myers, FL to say with her grandparents in their condo

 and the time around it

the above shot was our view for a rather long time
our 3 1/2 hour trip from Louisville back to the Boro took....

8 HOURS

with standstill traffic and a detour that was NOT optional we....yeah....drove forever.......

well, the sign is funny enough but as we are discussing the bill of rights in my American government and politics class i am mentally frustrated. my class in full of stupid liberals that nauseate and annoy me the quote will fully satisfy my irritation.
