Radiator

So my car is in pieces right now... well not completely... My dad and I took the radiator out and we are trying this weird thing... I would explain but I don't know the name of any of the parts, and I don't want to sound like an idiot. If what we are trying doesn't work we are going to have to get an entirly new radiator and those things are pretty expensive which sucks....
