So it would seem the literal shit has hit the proverbial fan.
Isreal is going to work on Lebanon in the own-your-face way.
And Iran is asserting its justifiable right to develop nuclear technologies.
Which I fully support. I mean, really, they say they're going to use it for peaceful purposes, so why bother getting into a star-spangled snit about things until they violate that claim?? That's like paying interest on money you haven't yet borrowed.
Meanwhile, back on the ranch, I have uncovered an obsession with Hamlet's Ophelia, writing a poem thereof, and pre-Raphaelite artistry.

I really like the way you word things. The way you've written about issues that you like/ dislike what annoys you and the metaphors you seem to use. I enjoy reading this..:) just thought i would say that.

you cant wait and see what they are going to do with the nuclear tech because when you give some a foot they take a mile. by not letting them make it in the first place, it gives a better since of security. look at north korea for instance. they said they wanted to use it for power stations and now they've made nuclear war heads that are for sale on the open market. and every news station is advertising it, and dont realize it.

i kinda think so, but we're not the only ones that have. so do russia, india, and china. plus, the united nations set the rules for who is allowed to play with nuclear power. it's not the united states that just go around telling people what to do

We appear to be one of the few nations not led by someone criminally insane (Say what you like about Bush's policies, but he's not a Middle East dictator level of depravity any way you look at it). That is why we get to pick. We would be totally out of line denying nuclear capability to a sane nation such as Great Britain or Germany. But giving nuclear power to Iran is like giving a hand grenade to a three year old.
