heyyy its me and my baby!

areas where i am trying to improve my self discipline:
1. doing homework, studying, and not procrastinating.
2. running or doing weights at the Y.
3. getting more sleep.

lets say i'm failing miserably in all three.

so i wanna do a little blurb on honesty:
one of the reasons i hate high school is the relationships. not just dating, but friendships too. friendships, dating, everything would be so much more enjoyable if everyone would be straight up with each other. i'm not saying be brutally honest. some people just use honesty as an excuse to be a jerk. but i have this friend, kelsey, we've been best friends for 5 years. we have such an awesome relationship because we are totally honest with each other. if i'm messing up, the she'll call me out. she's my accountability partner and she helps keep me in line. i just hate when people, esspecially girls play games. i hate manipulative people. all my relationships are so much better when honesty is the foundation.. i just wish people would always be more open. just say straight up where they stand.

so i've felt sick all week. been in some rotten moods. esspecially in 5th P..

going to Chuck E. Cheese tomorrow for the CC banquet. should be interesting.. haven't been with all the guys in a while..

Have I mentioned how much I love God lately? He's just.. incredible..

i think a list of random thoughts will suffice:

1.  thanksgiving break was too short.
2.  the Annie soundtrack is fantastic to listen to while cleaning
3.  i love going to the MTSU girls' basketball games. i went to 3 last week. i feel like i know them.. like strengths and weaknesses.
4.  kelsey shearron benched me. i'm relieved.
5.  i wish the kings would move back to the boro!
6.  my dog is getting fat. i need to execise her bad.
7.  i need to run. i can't get outta shape. i'll never get back in.
8.  kacie introduced me to a gobstopper candy cane. it was incredible.
9.  i wrote my penpal at riverdale today for spanish class. told him i was thrilled about riverdale losing!
10.i love Christmas music.
11.me and kelsey are going to the jason mraz concert!!
12.for Christmas, I want a camera and an editing system for my computer. how awesome would that be?!
13.i dunno when i'm getting the ipod. i have the money. but mom says they're crazy expensive (true), its only expensive b/c its a popular brand (also pretty true) and that i should to research to see if i can find something cheaper (not a bad idea.)
14.me and sam are incredible at frisbee golf and perfect dark.
15.i think i might go back to Ecuador this summer!!
16.my parents are putting up the FAKE Christmas tree. last year was the first year we've had it. i can't stand it. its Christmas. we need a real tree!!

wow.. time for an update eh?

soo much has happened!

I turned 17! I got a '96 Altima!! its amazing!! i love it!
kelsey came over for a bit, got me so much. she's the best!, including a slinky that helps me stay awake in english!
noah got me daisys, the sister hazel cd, and preds tickets!! ..but stupid tornados kept us from making it to the game : (

i am now an offical member of DBS
soo tired of being a pledge..
and i would not have made it through bull night and the constitution test w/o hay and emily.
today was initiation.. i pretty much have the coolest big sister ever. burning cups and flower petals w/ our candles.

sam and the kings are coming for thanksgiving!!
i'm excited! we should have a lot of fun!

oh yes.. school is only 2 days this week!!! spectacular!

i should have an ipod by the end of this week!!! very pumped about that.

well, i'm only writing this to avoid my thomason essay, so i guess i better get to work on it..

i'm really proud. even if they are all retarded.
at least they move their legs fast.

The N (the first one) is my cousin, john. The D (left of the blondie) is my brother. At a MSU football game. They made the paper.. pretty funny/..cool lol

life is good.. 

this saturday i don't get to do road rally w/ my youth group.. im doing concessions at a MTSU football game.. for my good ole sorority.. pretty i have a thousand test i need to make up for that.. but im gonna have to miss another meeting this sunday..

i should have a car in one week!!! i'm so happy about that!! so so happy! so yep i'll be 17 in one week and a day. thats crazy. i'm not really ready to be 17.. b/c when i turn 17 then i have to turn 18 and goodness.. i should not be an adult! i wanna stay a kid..

and i have about $200 dollars for my ipod! over half way there!

i start editing the silent film on final cut pro.. besides the fact that me and apple computers dont get along.. i'm pretty sure i love that thing.. media production class is the greatest thing ever.. its so awesome!!.. except i discovered its gonna take a long time to get it all edited..  there's no way all the groups will get done. probably just me, deanna, noah and jade will.. oh well. works for us!

EDIT (i forgot some things..)

1. i think i have shin splints.. it sucks. and hurts.
but it doesn't make sense.. i really don't run hard enough to get them.
2. so i have this great new idea for people that stress out and go crazy.
whenever they start to annoy me.. i'm gonna stick them w/ a tranquilizer syringe.
then they'll become all giddy, then mellow, then just pass out on the floor.
it really helps just to think about doing it to those people. makes me happy.

thank goodness this week is OVER!!
school kicked my butt this week.

bhs cc boys..: STATEBOUND!!

yeah. these boys. i am soo proud of them!!! they all ran amazing at regionals. every single one of them ran a personal best. some busted out, running over a minute faster than they ever have before. yeah.. people laughed at them in the beginning.. thinking they didn't even had a chance. well they proved everyone wrong! first bhs cc team to ever go to state!! i did pretty good too.. ran 22:12.. best all year.. 6 seconds faster and i woulda PRed.. oh well. senior year!

but tonight was actually alotta fun!
tailgated w/ the cc team.
they cooked some hot dogs.. or tried to..

then the bhs/shs game..
we went and stood in the bhs student section.
it was actually pretty cool. i haven't been to many football games.
never really been in the student section.
i've been missing out.
when we're seniors. man i wanna go crazy.
we're gonna get everybody together to fill up the student section.

then working w/ hay and making a whole bunch of stuff for the rebel rouser tomorrow night.
setting up the rebel rouser at 6. the party actually starts at 8.

sunday.. church.. out to eat.. setting up for our church party at three.. then the actual party..
im gonna be a firefighter!! (my brother is a volunteer ff.. so im gonna get all his gear)

God is good! i think he's provided an oppurtunity for me to go to Northern Ireland with my youth group over spring break! im so excited!!

i barely have time to breathe.



dbs meetings are every sunday.
but i worked it out where i only have to go every other sunday.
but that still means i can only go to samson sisterhood once every two weeks.
makes me really sad.



my classes.. eh they're okay.. mac's will be amazing of course.

One more week left of summer.
I'm gonna make it the best week possible.

This has been a good couple of days.
Lets see..
Monday: cc practice, stayed home to do summer reading all day.. didn't do any of it.
Tuesday: cc practice, then out to breakfast w/ berry, lambo, and reese. we head up to cool springs for a while. then come back and play a killer game of doubles tennis! Then that night went out w/ kels looking for the Shawn McDonald cd... didn't find it.
Wednesday: cc practice, laid out at kels's pool, then went up to franklin and played ultimate frisbee w/ some church ppl
Thusday: cc practice, went to school to help w/ Ren. stuff for a bit but really just helped lamb w/ Student Council. went and saw Must Love Dogs w/ kelsey.
Today: cc practice--we played ultimate frisbee oh yes! we kill at that game i love it. getting ready to go up to franklin to lay out w/ holly. then come back to the boro and kick it w/ kelsey.


ahh i love the summer so so much.

thursday i finally read a summer reading book, Raisin in the Sun. it was gay gay. but i just sat down and read it in 3 hours.



I'll be in Atlanta Tues-Fri of next week.
so since i'll be gone on the half day.

also yesterday i went out to camino w/ chris then we went and did puttputt. that was alotta fun.

my car kinda had a meltdown.. the brakes kinda died.. but my dad already fixed it up! and its back in action!

well i cleaned all today and im still so exhausted from lake day. night! much love!
