Approximately 8:45 this morning, Daniel took his first step. Shortly after this amazing feat, Daniel decided that he should actually use his walker as a walker. (Until today, he would lean over to play with the toys on the front.) He used it to walk across the room until he ran into something, I turned him around, he walked until he ran into something, and then repeated this again.
I am VERY excited, but also very afraid. Poor kitty will never be able to escape now.

Thanks for posting this milestone, E. Just yesterday Todd and I were wondering if he'd taken his first step or not. You know, it's been entirely too long since we've seen you three.

Yeah, finally. I kept telling all my friends ... any day now. Yeah !!!! This is a day you will cherish and remember forever. I still remember the look on Josh's face when he took his first step ... and realized he was holding on to nothing.
