Apparently, despite how much I like scallops, they do not like me. The last two times that I ate scallops I got very sick. VERY sick. Yesterday was a bad day. What exactly do mothers do when they throw up every time they stand up and yet still have to take care of a baby? I think that would certainly be worth knowing.

Make sure you don't throw up on the baby !! (sorry not helpful). That is odd ...

...at least it's a one-time thing with scallops. Just imagine if it were morning sickness! I don't know how our mother did the whole 15-months apart thing, I really don't.

Maybe it has less to do with scallops and more to do with eating scallops in Cookeville, Tennessee.

But if it is, indeed, scallops in general, then I (being the loving older sister that I am) will gleefully eat an extra helping of scallops, just for you.

*blink* ...and now I'm going to apologize for my criminal overuse of the word "scallops" and beg the mercy of the court.

moan, try to avoid standing up, when you do have to stand try to keep your head low- preferably below waist level, groan, carry an appropriate receptical, do only what is absolutely necessary (no cleaning, cooking, lawn work, etc.), barricade Daniel in a room where he can't get out of sight and you can lay down, generously sprinkle cheerios around where he can "find" them as he plays, and don't eat any more scallops! Hope you're feeling better!

I think Jeana's decscribed it pretty well but would add that cursing, judiciously applied, might help some (only under your breath so Daniel can't hear). Just remember, that's why they make playpens. Loved the Cheerios idea!
