ok, band competition, we got 2nd,anyway this is how i feel. The percussion and color guard worked our asses off with 3 hours extra on top of the bands normal 3. so thats 6 hours. we had 3 hours on thursday, 6 hours on friday as well as a football game, and 6 hours on saturday. but it payed off, percussion tied for best in show, and guard got 1st overall. but the band got second.

Because the WINDS didnt practice as much as we did, so we lost. how do ya like that.

im not trying to argue, but one part of that is that the band needs a solid drumline before they can get better, and that the guard is a lot harder to get together and therefore needs more practice alone to work on this

But we didnt lose guys. We got second and only by half a point! Everyone is so dumb about winning! I promise its not the only thing that matters!

I agree with Katie. And did it ever occur to ANYONE that Tullehoma may just be better than we this year? But maybe not.

you guys still did a great job though! (and a special congrats to the drumline). im going to try to come to the next contest. aww tyler i miss you and i miss taking brett to your house to play warhammer!! and remember that time that we hid you from my mom? yea that was fun.. anyways youre such a great guy, just wanted to let you know! :) have a great night!!
