Hey guys! Well, as of tomorrow we have four days off! YAY! Finally, some relaxation! Tomorrow my beautiful sister will be on homecoming court, so it's going to be awesome to see her walk out, and it's going to be good to see the Siegel Stars again! As everybody says, "Michael, why couldn't you look as good as she does?" Isn't that sad? Oh well, I guess it's true! LOL! Anyways...I wanted to actually lift up my sister for prayer. Jennifer had some blood tests come back abnormal, and I don't know the details yet, but she definitely needs prayer. She was losing weight for awhile, and we just think that something is wrong. Monday she is going to have a test that is going to make her very sick because she has to consume this chemical called barium. It makes you sick to your stomach. Also, my parents are obviously worried, and trying to keep busy so that they can avoid being worried. I appreciate your prayers for my sister and my parents! I will try to post some pictures of Jennifer's homecoming on here Monday! I love you guys!

I am growing to love the sound of trains. There is a station only blocks from where I live and I hear the whistle and rumble of the trains off and on all day. Somehow it reminds me of being a kid. I always remember when I would go to bed and everything would become silent, no matter where I was, I could always hear a train off in the distance.

so....something exciting happened while i was filling this out! many of
you might not know him, but seth carico called me when i was on #22!!!
i've talked to him once through email since he graduated and he just
called to say hello and to see how things were going! we talked about
grad schools a little bit and about the awesome program he is in now.
it was good to talk to him. but really, now i must go get started on
this paper! ciao!

Well, in about 5 minutes I am leaving to go to Illinois with Meredith to visit her parents. I have a ton of accounting work to do over the break though...ugh. Oh well. I'm so tired...I sure hope she's ready to drive :). Anyway...hope all is held down in the boro. What? Yeah. Later guys.

i finally made it home at like 1 last night. we were makin good time till we got off of 840 and then i took a right when i should of takin a left. oh well. i just took scenic route home.

went shoe shopping earlier, didnt have much luck.

this weekend should be cool. i'm glad i'm home. and by the way, sleeping in my own bed is great.

One man said that he filled his Dodge Ram Ful-Size truck for only...$4.00. Maybe somebody will be clumsy and gives us a break. The mamnger that made this mistake would not state her name but then was later on fired.

I have spent all morning trying to write all my thoughts, emotions, and little tangents done.Just to read back over it, and push the backspace buttom because they make sense in my head, but not in writing.

If you know me I have probably already talked to you about this, so it should make sense to you. If it doesn't than bare with me.

The title was brought about by my thoughts, is this my last October here? I moved here in October of 96, and nine years later I am wondering, is this it, my last October.

Like I said, if you know me this isn't new, so here it goes. As I sat in church on Sunday Drew said that, "There comes a time in our lifes where we have to turn the page, and begin a new chapter of our life." Jes, looked at me and said, "But I don't want you to start a new chapter." I laughed, but in reality that is where I have come to.

God is reminding me that all of the broken friendships, heartaches, and trials that I have been through have brought me closer to him. He is also reminding me that, he will never leave my side. Which makes me think of the footprints in the sand. The times where there was only one set of footprints, he was not walking next to me , but carrying me.

I am not perfect by all means, and there are things in my life that I deaply regret, but those are the things that have helped build my character. So if you don't know about those things in my past, let me remind you that that is what it is my past. I can't change any of it if I tried, and if you love me now, you love all those things, because that past is what made me the person I am today. (another tangent)

Anyway, October has come along, and it brought some decisions that need to be made. I am not scared anymore, those feelings have kinda turned into feelings of excitement. I am excited to see what God has in store for me. Maybe a new begining, a new school, new job....new life!

I needed God to remind me, that it is ok to move on. The question still is, is it time to turn the page and start a new chapter? Please pray for me & my family

Tonight at 9pm, field 3, AO takes on "As Good as it Gets" in game 3 of the MTSU Flag Football intramural season. Last week saw AO earn its first victory of the season with a 7-0 win over "Dem Boyz." Tonight, AO goes will try to make it 2 in a row against "As Good as it Gets."

You are invited to come out and support the Alpha Omega Flag Football team! Please pray for AO as it continues again this week in reaching the MTSU campus in intramural sports. Please pray that members of As Good as it Gets would be impacted by Christ tonight as they play AO. Pray that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened to Jesus (Eph. 1:17). Well last night, the lambda chi's kidnapped one of our sisters! It was an interesting experience! We had to go rescue her, and it turned out to be a good way to get to know some of the guys. Anyway, I wish I had pictures from that night, but I don't. Maybe next time.. if there is one....

College is going awesome! A week from today I will be on my fall break, so I'm pretty pumped about that! Ah, to sleep in my own bed!

so we're half way through with the first semester of college, and i still don't know why i am here. i know that i need a degree and so on and so forth, but i feel like i am wasting my time since i am not working toward anything. i just wish God would give me direction or even motivation to do something. i constantly feel sluggish and stagnant. motion is desired in large amounts

so it fixed. that's good. and my day actually turned out a lot better than i thought it would. that's good too.

Anyone want to go puddle jumping. God knows there is enough out there. I need to get some aggression out... since i am not a boy and can't hit walls... i'll just go jump in the water. ANy takers ;)

I found myself in the position of having to arrive on campus early this morning to study for a mid-term. The time is 8:30 am, foggy, 52 degrees. And there before me were a group of my fellow Blue Raiders.. Their names I did not know. Still trying to get the crusty stuff out of my eyes, half asleep, and not wanting to be in the library this early something happened. These students who were in front of the library unleashed a vicious killer toward my direction. This vicious killer was a Camel.

This Camel choked the spit and snot out of me. Not a camel in the physical sense. This Camel was disguised as a smokey ninja. Mist. Elusive. More fleet of foot than Micheal Vick. This Camel was the Camel none other than the Camel cigerette. Their addiction could very well be my demise.
I loathe cigerettes. I bite my thumb at cigerettes

I don't know if any body is with on this one but I am so sick of this rain! I know that we need the rain but I could we get a little sun!

So, another week, another post. Actually i'm sitting outside my internship because of course i am again early. so i have a little bit of time on my hands and it is either post to phusebox, or do homework...let's see what won out. I mean i did choose to scrub a toilet on monday night instead of studying for a mid-term...but you don't need to know about that. So the title of the post. i figure that if i keep telling myself over and over again, that i love my job (as in wal-mart) i will eventually convince myself that it is true. Let's see, i decided to take saturday off as a day of rest...which was great, until you i decided to let management talk me into working from 6am - 10pm on sunday...then on monday, i learned that management doesn't care about profits because they don't see fit to keep unstaffed areas stocked (i.e. the milk) therefore, caring about making some serious money (like that will ever happen) i wasted (i stress the word) my last break and glimpse of sanity to restock the milk, now if i can put out 82 cases of milk (multiplied by 4 gives you the # of gallons) in under 15 minutes, why can't someone else take 5 minutes out of there sitting around doing nothing 3 times to insure that it is still there...unfortunately this put me in a bad mood and the person working service desk had to get the bad end of the stick. but i'm making it up to her, i'm taking her out next thursday (suck up points i know) but as soon as i graduate and find a real job (i.e. anything not wal-mart) my life will be better. well that is all for now...

Today is my new favorite day!!

I'm tired...but I can't sleep.  And yes, I, of course, have an 8:00 class.  And, to add to it, that 8:00 class is accounting.  Poop on accounting.

"What does a piggy say, oink oink oink" this is currently going through me head. sad, but true. though i do love those 3 year olds! fun kids.

and may i also say... in the words of a 3 year old... i need to be a "big girl". next week this time i will be setting off on an adventure by myself... one i have never done alone. that shall prove to be very interesting. so i must be a "big girl" and do it. and in the words of thomas, "i think i can! i think i can!" i bet you didn't even know i worked with kids! it isn't at all obvious.

ahhh....life is grand. ever since i overdosed on antidepressants, life is just grand. hehe. i'm just having a very happy day!
i got a new job today, it pays great, it's a great opportunity and it's just great.
i have wonderful friends, and they are just wonderful to me, and we have a wonderful time together, and it's just wonderful.
God is AWESOME, and of course that's just AWESOME!
so yeah that about sums it up! i hope everyone has a good fall break, i will miss everyone like crazy so hurry back to the boro!
of course monday and tuesday are gonna rule in PIGEON FORGE HECK YEAH I'M SO EXCITED!!!

alright so...omg where do i start. its been a whole week since ive posted which i think is a record??? but it hasnt felt like a week at all cuz i dont think ive had much free time since then. i'll just start with friday cuz school doesnt matter.

friday-i got home from school and worked a few hours then went out to have dessert with anthony:-) we went to denny's, it was good.

saturday-i woke up at 630am which sucked considering it was a saturday, blah. got ready and went to get mcdonalds for breakfast and then took my SAT. that test ran from 845 to 110pm so i was like omg!! it was supposed to be over at 12 but the SAT just sucks like that so yea. so i called my mom and she was like "i was starting to get worried" so yea, i was gonna get the gas tank filled and go to quiznos 1. cuz anthony was working there at the time and 2. cuz it was a good excuse to finally eat a sandwiche there, cuz i never had. but some plans changed. i was at the spring cypress interaction and a guy ran into the back of my car....twice. so picture me, tired, wanting to go home, having to deal with getting insurance from this guy cuz he ran into the back of my car!!! so yea i called my parents and they came to the rescue. we figured out id get in touch with him once i got an estimate and we'll see what happens from there. so yea im going tomorrow to get the estimate. then my mom decided to drive me to the kroger gas station and then to quiznos. so i saw anthony and told him bout it, and i got my lunch as well, cuz i was starving. then went home and found out that things had changed drastically with homecoming dance plans. cam said meka wasnt coming which was very upsetting and so i called stephanie and she said it was fine for me to go with their group. so i ate then left again at like 2pm to go to her house and get ready. i borrowed her dress and like her whole family helped me get ready and stuff. i also met john and he was pretty cool. there was a group of 9 people. we had to go to all these houses, get pictures, it was very tiring and i was exhausted. then we went out to eat and actually i didnt really like their food but i gave it a try anyway. then i decided i didnt wanna go to the dance without anthony. my whole group had dates and i definately felt just kinda like...out of place, i was always used to having a date and stuff and im like "this isnt right" so i just sorta ditched them and went to quiznos to see anthony. i showed him the dress and everyone in the store was like "awww how cute!!" and stuff. and his boss finally met me and was like "you're his girlfriend?" lol. so yep, my evening finally got tons better and i went to his house to wait for him to get back from quiznos. so i sat with nina, mike, and anthonys dad watching the baseball game/ace ventura. then once anthony got there it was about 945 heh. anthony got dressed, his dad took a couple pictures, i drove us to the school and we stayed there for a total of like 5 minutes. that dance was such a waste of time, i hated it. and steffie wasnt there either and i had been trying to reach her all evening on her cell. i found out she was working so we left the school and i drove down to kroger and we paid her a visit. i could tell she was happy we did, it was fun talking to her. so then we went to adams house only to be told to leave lol. so then we went back to anthonys house and told his dad that we got kicked out for dancing too dirty. by then it was about 11 so i stayed at anthonys house for about an hour or so and then came home. i fell asleep FAST.

sunday-then of course i had to be waken up at like 7am to work on some job that had to be done THAT day. ugh, it sucked but i got it done fast and then hurried up and got ready. packed, showered, all that fun stuff. and then anthony got there about 945ish and we left to go to whataburger and get breakfast. (best breakfast ever!) heh, then we were in the car for like 2 hours just trying to get to galveston, ugh, it was torture. but we got there eventually, found our hotel, we walked on the beach (profile pic anthony took) then once we got checked into our room we got ready and went to go to the beach, we waded in there for a while only for anthony to wimp out and say "yea, lets go back" hehe:-P so then we decided to just go swim in our hotel pool. it was heated too, it was really nice. oh yea! some dudes honked at me, it was funny. so then once we got out of the pool it was FREEZING!! so we literally were running to our room and i was running upstairs and i broke my toe:-( omgosh it was painful!! so i limped to the elevator and limped to the room and collapsed on the bed...actually no i changed first, then collapsed on the bed. me and anthony had originally planned to go out to eat at mario's pizza place but since i couldnt walk he called in an order and drove to pick it up for me which was the sweetest thing ever!! so he like fixed my pillows and propped them up and gave me the remote and it didnt evne take that long. and it was the BEST PIZZA EVER!!! i wish we had a mario's pizza here:-( but it was expensive. id go broke. so then we just stayed in the room and my parents and us sat around on the balcony and goofed off and snacked, it was nice. we had the best balcony view ever. so then we went back to the room and went to sleep at 10....ok thats what we told my parents, i figure id tell yall that one too.

monday-so i was intending on us sleeping in but noooo!! my mom has to call the room at like 830am and wake us up, ugh, it was terrible. but yea, we packed, and i had really good coffee and we ended up leaving the hotel around 1030 or so. it was starting to rain anyway. we ate at mcdonalds and then drove home (it didnt take as long this time cuz we knew where we were going) and then around 230 anthony left to go do his homework and stuff and then came back around 500 and we went to the football game and they kicked langham creeks booties, it was fun. then i got home, anthony helped me with physics and then he went home and then i went to sleep and then tuesday was school.

i stayed home from school today cuz my foot was really swollen from breaking my toe, it was torture so i just couldnt walk on it anymore. i had walked on it all tuesday and thats why it swelled so bad. but yea, these past 2 days ive just been getting back into reality and taking care of a bunch of things i need to take care of. my SAT is finally over, now i gotta face the ACT on october 22. plus ive been trying to get physics help so im gonna go to tutoring this saturday at the college most likely. so yep anyway im gonna go now, i have 2 days worth of pre cal homework to do. byez

i just wish i had tha time and patience to talk to this person about it but o wait he is obessed with 2 things!! soo of course he doesnt have time to talk!!! ive done my part he can do his!

i did get to talk to Josh Vance today...his story that happened to him this morning made my day!

i just hope tomorrow is a better day...and it will be b/c i get to hang out w/ Patrick!!

i have tha next 2 days off work!!! YAY!!!

well im off to work on some school work! thats all i do is homework and work these days!

More relevant to our generation, probably, is that this week 10 years ago...

Alanis Morrisette had the #1 album, "Jagged Little Pill", and had already been on the charts for 113 weeks. The Dangerous Minds soundtrack took the two slot, and Hootie and the Blowfish had the #3 album after being on the charts for 129 weeks already.

That's insane. We'll never see people sell that many albums for that long ever again. Sad.
