i hate when people open my mail!!!
and what does my mother do?
she opens my ACCEPTANCE LETTER to union...and she doesnt think its a big deal...she thinks that it is her right to open my ACCEPTANCE LETTER!!!!
am i being stuck up? but this is really bothering me!!! it's my ACCEPTANCE LETTER!!
and to top it off, she was like, yeah, well, you got into union, your letter came in mail, i guess you better start applying for scholarships if you wanna go, cause you arent going unless you get money...like it was nothing no big deal that i had just been accepted to my top choice school...like it was just some casual letter from a friend i see every day!

well im not really sure if i know you or not but your on my friends list so anyways....no your not really being stuck up about your letter. That was your "acceptance letter" so you should have been able to open it. all the same its really hard for parents to understand that they are going to have to let go of there kids soon. And as for her not making a big deal about you getting in (just me guessing) its probably just hard on her, like I said knowing that she going to be losing her girl. Parents there just big kids that have kids… So yeah sorry this was long and kinda random….im working on a 10 page paper and was taking a few min brake to get away from it and saw your post and was still in a writing mood ....and sorry for the 2 wells i dont know how that happened?

you're reacting just as anyone SHOULD. and acceptance letter is something big. she had no true right to open that letter...especially since it was addressed to you. so yeah...congrats on getting accepted. loves ya

I think I would be upset too! I guess she just didn't realize how important it was to you... moms tend to know so much and so little about us all at the same time. Congrats on getting accepted though, and don't forget that whatever works out is God's plan for you!

that stinks...maybe she just didnt realize how much it meant to you. but i'm so happy for you!!!! yay! yeah...i have union on my list of colleges to visit. my best friend's big sister goes there. Have a wonderful day love! Let God rock it.

That's totally jacked up. You have every dadgum right to be angry with her. (I applaud you for being so far ahead with the admissions process. Congratulations for getting into your top school!! :)
