I heard my name and "backstory" in the same sentence. Basically, last year (before I moved here), Bean was reviewing for the ACT after Cross Country practice. Chloe, who is also on the team, came up to him and said "I heard you got a 34 last time on the ACT. I bet you'd be willing to pledge your soul to get a 36, wouldn't you?" Bean thought Chloe was joking around and said "Haha, yea." Chloe never jokes around. Bean had agreed to pledge his soul to the ACT to get a 36 ala Dorian Grey and now his soul remains trapped in his ACT until Chloe, one day, finds it and flays it.
