Today was ok. 3rd period is so boring! I'm going to learn to play this Japanese number puzzle that is in the news papers so I can have something to do.
Band practice in the cold is nice. :-)

Don't you hate it when you have like a really really awesome day, just to know that it can't ever be like that again.
I'm so depressed.

Crazy dreams...
October 08 2005
Omg, I had the craziest dreams last night...I dreamed that Ryo came back from college and I someone because fluent in Japenese and talked to him...then that I found my lost jacket under my bed (and I check, and it was there)...some random things about certain band people...and me flying around the city of Murfreesboro on a hover-car? It was cool! There was more...but I just don't remember them all right now.
My trip to Memphis
October 05 2005
Ok, so we drive down to Memphis on Monday, long and boring right? Yes.
Tuesday I went over to the music building (which is alot like Tech's) and went up for my lesson. We played duets, I don't know if I impressed him much though, I didn't warmup all that well...but he knows it. Later, I went and met the director of admissions for the music school, who is one of the nicest old women ever! My mom got sick from being nervous and had to leave. So she walks me over to the band directors office and I met with them and what not.
After lunch we went on the college tour with this girl that sat next to Ruth at all-state who wants to go to UM and two of the horn majors there. One of them (we called her Elvis) was really awesome, the other (Matt) was cool too. They disagreed on everything, it was funny. So we went on the college tour and my mom was asking Elvis and Matt all these questions. The campus is really nice, like all the buildings are in walking distance of each other. And everywhere there is to eat on campus has sushi!
So we went to eat dinner after hanging out with Matt, Abby (the other girl) and Jessica for a while. (Jessica is Elvis.) And came back for the band concert, which featured the brass quintet. OMG! The band is amazing! They played "Shadowcatcher" better than Tech did, I thought. But yeah, it was awesome.
Then we drove home, got back at 12:30 and slept.

So yeah, we got second tonight. I don't feel bad though, I thought we had an awesome performance. Oh well, the $3000+ prize money would have been nice, but we don't need that to show how amazing we are.

The thing we did at school today was fun, the weather was really nice. I went shopping with Angela and Beth afterward, it was good. Angela gave me this book (in German) about Germany's music stuff and like 200 CD's. (I love her!) Later, we went to starbucks to get drinks...and I ended up getting an iced green-tea and a free latte...which worked out well for me.
We have a game tonight against Smyrna. Amy and I are going to decide what to dress like for "twin day" even though she has a twin...but we can be triplets.
Haha.

So Mr. Rhody told me not to play so my lip could get better and man, I have never been so bored! During 5th period all there was to do was toss the flag (which got bored also, because I usually do that when I'm taking a break from practicing) and sleep. Sleeping came rather easily. During 6th I went out with the guard. Rhody asked me to go out everyday to set up the cones and work the big speaker. So yeah, having a sore lip and not being able to play is depressing. The sad thing is, I have a rehearsal later...
In music theory today, it was boring also. We just wrote out all of our scales.
Quote of the day: "The little meatwad changed the station!"

So I got home last night (after band) and went to sleep. I slept almost 12 hours! It was amazing...
Where is Rachel? She is usually setting beside the computer...just kidding, she just walked in (after hitting her head on her car).
