Hail from Hell

April 07 2006

So. . .while I was at work, Taevan's wife had just driven up and said that she had outrun the hail, so Otis told me to bring my car in the shop. I did so, he pulled his truck in, and Jeff pulled his car in. About ten seconds later, no joke, the hail came flying; it sounded like hundreds of baseball bats hitting the roof of the shop. A door flew up, and we all ran around latching all eight doors down, and in the process, I apparently sliced my finger and part of my hand because I noticed blood stains on my hand, mixed in with dirt, yay. Then Taevan told me I had a window to get home if I wanted to, so I took it, doing about 70 on the way home in order not to get caught up in the storm was was following me. So. . . now that I here, I'm not getting back out.

Spanish placement test is next week. This week alone, I've studied at least seven hours. Woo, go me.

The hail was following my dad too. It hit our house about three seconds after he walked in the door. I hope your hand is okay. And good luck on your test!

Oh wow you didn't mention the finger slicing incident to me last night. Hope everything well at your place last night - it was peaceful here.
