Homosexuality

Homosexuality is biological. If you don't believe me do some research. It is not a moral issue. That would be like saying autism is a moral issue. It isn't a choice. Heterosexuals may be quick to say it is, but would they think it a choice for themselves to be attracted to the opposite sex? I think not. I get so furious with individuals who quickly proclaim their dissaproval of homosexuality and that it is a sin when those individuals have taken no time to think through the issue and do some good research, both in the Bible and in the scientific world. Please, for the good of everyone, think first. Use the common, rational, and thinking sense that you have. Don't just do what everyone else does or be afraid to know what you believe and why. It would also be nice if people could accept that what works for them won't work for someone else, so they cannot expect everyone to believe, think, or behave the same. However, I do think everyone could benefit from all people being more accepting- doing what is best for themselves and the group. But, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's better for some people to just go through life a sheep without using their brains at all.
Here is one simple article: Lesbians' brains
"One of the basic realities of American life," [Eliza Byard of the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network] said, "is that all of us have to deal with beliefs we disagree with."

I biologically have depression, but if I kill myself, am I right or wrong in doing so?

If we are all just selfish,
And if motivations simply from genetics
Or lack of free will from circumstances
Governs our lives. Then...
Kill your unborn child, Alden,
Or I'll kill you. Because
According to your beliefs,
You would immediately kill your son,
Having only thoughts for survival
Inbred since the beginning of time.
And no one can blame my murder
If you don't, because I was meant to
By process of evolution
My survival depends on the death
Of others...
Or are you just bluffing, more clever a woman than I originally thought?
Your research only says that a basis exists, not how that basis is attained. If it were from genetics, your beliefs would be validated, but even voluntary, decisive behavior can affect the inner workings of the brain. You only jump to the conclusion because you believed so before the research was ever attained. In addition, one study produced that at least 30% of all studies ever performed came to the wrong conclusion or the right one via the wrong means. To me, you're just rehashing what every other Democrat says (that's not to say that I'm Republican, for I'm not). But if you're so interested in tolerance of all beliefs, why don't you cry against the death of Christians in Muslim countries, instead of letting your own bias dictate your hypocritical views on relative molarity?

In other words, I'm saying the connection made by the research is incredibly loose, and that your bias has formed your beliefs not the actual facts. But I'm sure you won't believe someone like me. You're not easily persuaded, are you? What about your family "forced" you to write them a letter about the upbringing of your child? Or what spurned you away from Christianity so harshly? Not to say that I'm Christian either, I'm just interested in whether you would actually believe in God if He stood right in front of you...Just a thought.
