Because, for some reason, Mr. Hearn decided that the time would be better spent sight reading, instead of actually working on the specified pieces of music.

So the question is, can I get this music learned, on my own, by Saturday?

Uhhh, I'm guessing not. I am trying out for governor's school for voice, though...That's pretty darn exciting, if you ask me.=)

Wow, my last entry was a month ago....And band is finally over, so I have my life back. But apparently I'm sitting at home, bored (about to resort to...dare I say it.....voluntarily going to the coffee shop) so having my life back may not be a good thing.

It's quiet. Really, really quiet.

Fall Retreat was awesome. Hey, if you ever get a chance to go to New Frontiers, do it. The zipline/30 feet in the air obstacle course rocked, as did the live game of "clue" we played, and the scenery was amazing....I love being constantly reminded of how awesome God is.

Okay, I asked this on xanga, too, but what in the heck is "maxin"? It's in the fresh prince rap....it's driving me crazy.

Haha, we should have bonfires more often. And people shouldn't make fun of other people when they get mugged....=P

No, that has absolutely no relevance to anything going on whatsoever . It's just been stuck in my head all day, so all you lucky kids get to read it.

Fall Break=very fun. Oh yeah. Even though I'm like, "WHAT?? IT'S THURSDAY??" It's still been fun, just waaaaay to quick in passing.

I'm supposed to be making churros tomorrow with Cathy, Stephy, and Erin, but I have yet to talk to them....except for Stephy....and then we're supposed to go burn things down at Stephy's house....*maniacal laughter*

I've found that, with my family, you find out more if they think you have no idea what they're talking about. Especially if they think it's a secret. And they just keep avoiding the main word of the conversation, but keep talking about it, all the while thinking I have noooooooooo idea what's going on.

Oh contraire.

If you've ever wondered what it's like being the youngest child, look at it this way. You are always, always considered naive. It doesn't matter what they thought your siblings understood at your age, your way of thinking, to them, will always be the equivilant of a twelve year old. That's just, the way it works. In my family, anyway.

Haha, yeah, pretty sure I spent like an hour of my day pacing around my room and muttering ideas about how to change my room and how to take over my bathroom. And I finally washed my car! *dances*

Junior year=super mondo amounts of homework. This weekend alone I had a history paper to write, a spanish poem to finish, Etymology definitions, and history info to read (which I still haven't done). Last year I think I only had homework on the weekends like 3 times.....=P I'm not really complaining, it's just surprised me.

Grace's party=mucho fun. First spaghetti Factory trip, first laser quest game...hehehehe....very, very fun. =) Plus, our waiter looked like Ewan McGregor from Moulin Rouge, and we got him to sing....well, he did a little bit. =P Plus the funny looks we got from the crazy people in Nashville for wearing prom dresses made it more interesting....

haha, just finished my last summer reading card (Their Eyes Were Watching God) the day before it was due. I think I have some kind of disease that doesn't let me get things done until the absolute last minute. I'm serious, it's alllllllllllways the night before. If I try to do it earlier, I'll get distracted. Oh well....Stephy has it too....maybe we both just like stress. =P

Rachel has seven classes this year! Of course you would have already known this if I updated more than every two weeks....but stilll. Yay for etymology!

Maybe it'll be easier to write this weekend when I'm not dead from writing the plot of a book where all that happens is the stupid girl gets married every three seconds....

Yeah, pretty sure my brother was paying for our high-speed, so now that he's gone....my wonderful, click-and-it's-there, mondo-fast internet is goooooone. *tear*

Band camp really wasn't so bad. Our music for our performance really wasn't that bad (i'm so proud of my freshman!!!) but I know a couple of my lines could have been a loooooot better. So we'll see. Dude, we already have like 40 sets down....that's almost all of last year's show.

I like my schedule, so far....they switched my alg/trig early day math to a regular class because of size, and completely dropped my world history, which I need, unlike the math. So....I'm trying to drop the math, get my world history in like it's supposed to be, and the best part? I'M GOING TO BE ABLE TO TAKE EARLY DAY ETYMOLOGY!!! Yeah, pretty sure i've been wanting to take that class....yeah, i'm a dork, but I really think it sounds cool.....
