Carla, yeah they are making tristan into a movie, and the cool part is that on the preview it sounded like the soundtrack is going to be like newer music (kind of like what the romeo and juliet movie tried to do) . i'm such a dork though because everytime i say something about the movie, i always say "und" instead of "and" in the middle. lol. anyways, it will be out on Jan 13th.

Yeah, it was interesting. It was cool because it was my first opera experience, but it definitely could have been a better story. Our group is interested in that other opera you mentioned! Sounds awesome!
