bloggin at the beach
May 19 2006
so i spent about 8 hours in a 15-passenger van today; however the major fun part was finally walking with sand between my toes on the beautiful beach here in destin, florida. hopefully i can remain hidden from... certain floridians... anyway. here with 3bc... don't know anyone really well and i could really use a hug in my exaustion. woke up at 5:55 for the wonderful brently to drive me from manchester to the boro. lunch on the road. dinner at fudpuckers. bought a cute shirt. so so so tired.helped 5 guys set up the conference room for worship tomorrow night. man i love being abused and underappreciated by males who think they know more than me but hey i think it may just be an issue between me and band guys because i'm getting rather accustomed to this mentalitly and behavior--- but enough of that "semi-" rant... lol i need sleep
man- i think i might just love rascal flatts - they make it all better

Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break
Cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong
Wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand, Then you stand
Rascal Flatts, "Stand"

i'm the one who just had it done
so yesterday was a liquid-only diet
allowing me clear juices, soft drinks, jello and popsicles
no anything red, blue, or green
which removes almost all good flavors
and i 1/2 have results
i'm good except for some spots of inflamation
they took biopsies of those and i find out results on Monday
sorry for the icky-ness of the blog.
thanks.

DANI'S QUOTE OF THE WEEK
Until you've been in poilitcs you've never really been alive.
It's rough and somethimes dirty, and it's always hard work and tedious details,
but it's the only sport for grown-ups --
all other sports games are for kids.

April 10 2006
we MIGHT have found the cause of my pain!!! after my post asking you guys to pray, the pain has continued to get worse. in fact, i don't remember the last day since Christmas that i haven't had pain. today it reached a boiling point when i missed my 8 am lab cause it hurt so much i couldn't get out of bed. Well, mom flipped, but she talked to my "family" doc. te he he. my poor cousin is a dr. and gets plagued w/ all our medical woes.
---mk so now for the news you are actually reading this for---
she says it sounds like i have an ULCER!!!!
kinda freaky, but if that means we can make the pain stop............yeah
so i'm now on a BRAT diet at the order of my mom
(Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast)
and
Prilosec OTC at the order of my cousin
Thank you Lord for even this possibility!
I'll tell you if it helps in about a week!
