Let's just break up happy homes over a marriage certificate- a dern piece of paper!  Commitment is an action, not a signed document.  So sad...

From CNN:

BLACK JACK, Missouri (AP) -- The City
Council has rejected a measure allowing unmarried couples with multiple
children to live together, and the mayor said those who fall into that
category could soon face eviction.

Olivia Shelltrack and
Fondrey Loving were denied an occupancy permit after moving into a home
in this St. Louis suburb because they have three children and are not
married.

The town's Planning and Zoning Commission proposed a
change in the law, but the measure was rejected Tuesday by the City
Council in a 5-3 vote.

"I'm just shocked," Shelltrack said. "I really thought this would all be over, and we could go on with our lives."

The
current ordinance prohibits more than three people from living together
unless they are related by "blood, marriage or adoption." The defeated
measure would have changed the definition of a family to include
unmarried couples with two or more children.

Mayor Norman McCourt
declined to be interviewed but said in a statement that those who do
not meet the town's definition of family could soon face eviction.

Black
Jack's special counsel, Sheldon Stock, declined to say whether the city
will seek to remove Loving and Shelltrack from their home.

Who is the author of the DragonLance series? I'm pretty easy going, prefer fiction, but beyond that, no troubles. I appreciate the idea! :-)

the i'll tell you post was more directed towards before marriage. but i understand about the old age thing. it just seems like it would be easier in old age than before marriage, simply because you know that you lived a long and happy life and spent many years and memories with the one you loved. you couldn't really wish for anything more. but then again, the way i would look at it if i did lose the love of my life before marriage...after much grieving mind you...would be that God has a different plan for me than the one that I had thought would be fulfilled, trusting Him with my future. My example here...though i pray it doesn't happen...is Chris Madison getting married in his mid 30s. God provided for him, however it was in a different time and place than Chris ever imagined. anyways...i've blabbered enough. if i don't stop now i'll be sure to start ranting. lol. so how are you? i haven't seen you in years.

why would you think that?

Hey this goes for our friend Garrett, we already posted it on his, we just are making sure you read it. : First off, this goes to Mrs. Karissa Krapf ^. First of all what Internet source did u copy and paste that from ??? And all of that, that u wrote is just some scientific reasoning to not believe that God is real. That's why in the bible they speak of FAITH and it is clear that you don't believe in it. God gives us choice to believe, and speak our own opinion, but Garrett was just speaking his. This is taken from the Life Application bible. There we sited it for you thanks to millions of research papers lol: " The bible doesn’t discuss the subject of evolution. Rather, its worldview assumes God created the world. The biblical view of creation isn't in conflict with science; rather, it is in conflict with any worldview that starts without a creator. Equally committed and sincere Christians have struggled with the subject of beginnings and come to differing conclusions. This, of course, is to be expected because the evidence is very old and, due to the ravages of the ages, quite fragmented. Students of the bible and of science shouldn't avoid polarizations and black/white thinking. Students of the bible must be careful not to make the bible say what it doesn’t say, and students of science must not make science say what it doesn't say. The most important aspect of the continuing discussion isn't the process of the creation but the ORIGIN of creation. The world isn't a product of blind chance and probability; God created it. The bible not only tells us that the world was created by God; more important, it tells us who this God is. It reveals Gods personality, his character, and his plan for creation. It also reveals Gods deepest desires: To relate to the fellowship with the people he created. God took the ultimate step toward fellowship with us through his historic visit to this planet in the person of his son, Jesus Christ. We can know this God who created this universe in a very personal way. The heavens and the earth are here. We are here. God created all we see in experience. The book of Genesis begins, "God created the heavens and the earth." OK so yeh that was some info for ya. Anyway so yeh that is why we, as Christians, have once again FAITH. We can all sit around and wonder and think of some scientific way and even question how we were put on this earth, or how it was created. But we could never come to a complete understanding of how the earth was formed. God allows man to make choices and to believe what he wants to believe. With all the "scientific theories" that you just listed ^ have done nothing to help you further understand the creation of this wonderful world. So that is why religions are part of people’s lives. It’s something to help us understand the ways of earth, and just about everything. In our religion we can believe that God did create that beautiful sunset that is in that picture. Do u actually think that a piece of bacteria could make a human, we don’t think so. As soon as you find a scientist that can turn a piece of bacteria into a human being, please tell us. Or what website you might find it on. But for now, we believe that God created man, Adam and Eve. Are u familiar with that story ??? Cause we could break that down for ya. We challenge you to pick up the holy bible and read what it has to say about creation. There are written documents, aka the bible, to prove the history of what happened and how the Earth was created, and we are sure with all the scientific theories you have no written documents that can prove any of it that far back. Hmm the dates are 1450 to 1410 BC. What are your dates for your documents of your scientific theory? Please tell us, we would like to know. What it all boils down to is whether you believe it or not. You can choose to believe that bacteria formed trees and humans, but instead of having to complicate things with the scientific reasoning that has no written proof of it being real we can look at the sunset and think of how are wonderful heavenly Father created the sunset for man to enjoy on Earth. In him, ~ Sarah and Elizabeth

Well i'm not really one of those guys that likes to argue with atheism for fun. But I will say a few things. Essentially, I do believe in the big bang theory. God said "BANG" and it happened. If you are gonna tell me all of that gibberish that you tried to make sound intelligent is reason to believe why you and me are here today...well i'm sorry that doesn't quite explain things for me. All I need to do is look outside, look the the solar system, or look at the extremely complex anatomy of the human body. And atheism is gonna tell me that there is no God in all of this? No, I don't believe it. I refuse to believe that a single atom banged together or some crap over billions of years and then suddenly humans popped out of the earth. Do you know what the odds of that are? I'll tell you this, its a whole lot more than finding a needle in a haystack. Yeah, yeah, I know there atheism has some explanation for that too, right? As for me, i'll take my chances with my FAITH, and my God. Because christianity is based on faith. No, I can't make you believe that God created the sunset, or anything for that matter. And i'm not trying to. I am just breaking down logistical things. So there's my two cents.

We apologize for our sarcastic comments. You were right, some of those comments were not so nice, and we realized that after posting it and reading it over. If you can understand that once your in a "debate" like situation sometimes you start saying things because you felt somewhat offended so you kinda go back at them not meaning too. Its perfectly normal for anyone to question their religion, because it either makes you stronger or weaker with your beliefs. But for us it just made us stronger. But we dont want to make this into a huge argument/debate because your mind set is on what you believe and thats fine, we respect that. Hope you have a wonderful summer and will talk to ya later ~ sarah and liz
