i thoroughly enjoy a good conversation. that's the point of socializing and meeting new people, right? that's why networking sites are so popular, because people really like talking to others and opening themselves up to new individuals that they haven't met before. it's fun.
for all of you who have added me to your friends list, i thank you for acknowledging me. and for those who have taken the effort to actually converse with me, you're awesome. but for those who simply added me and have never taken the initiative to get to know me...then what was the point? am i just another digit to make your friends list look more populated? you added me, so why don't you introduce yourself? do you think it's my responsibility to talk to you first?
i'll talk to those that read what i post and respond because i know that they find me at least somewhat interesting. that's why, in turn, i'll reply back because then we might have some things in common. if you don't care, then why did you add me?
life is not a popularity contest. people aren't going to think poorly of you if you don't have tons of people on your friends list. and even if they do, that just means they're not worth your time.

yeah i hate it when people on myspace think they are so cool because they have like a million friends but they never talk to them. i mean whats the point if your not going to talk to them. it is like your another friend to add to the digits. i completly agree with all that was said.

the first wedding is my moms cousings wedding. the next weekend im going to my cousin on my dads sides wedding. i havent been to san fran since i was like in 1st grade. my grandpa lives there. i miss all those places SO much. is it still pretty there? i really dont remember. lol.

continuing our previous dialogue: the meaning of the word "friend" has been thoroughly thrashed. how many friends do we really have? many acquaintances, yes. many friends, true "lay your life down for them" friends, no. yes i'm playing semantics...but the loss of this word bothers me. moving on…i'm not even going to get into the psychology of it or freud's theories of puffing up one's online "friends" tally. online social networking is incredible because it provides a previously nonexisant opportunity to meet new and interesting people. to me, this therefore makes those who actively participate more well rounded in the long run. henri, you are well spoken, interesting, and i appreciate the opportunity to interact with ya.

yeh but for some reason i think spring break feels to early.. and unlike last year i dont have anything that exciting to do ... which is sad.. im going to the mountains tomorrow for a few days and im not looking that forward to it bc its cold there and i want to go somewhere warm... and then im going to the lake with one of my friends... but yeh i wanted to go to the beach.. but the plans got messed up so yeh thats my SB.. lol do you have anythign fun planned for yours? <3- liz

haha yeahh. i miss it there oh so much. i remember living in goleta. and walking to the beach was like 5-10 mins away. now its like 10 HOUR drive just to get there. lol.

yeh if i were you i would be happy in california... you are lucky you live there.. i have always wanted to go there.. anad i will ...someday ... yeh hanging out is fun though.. yeh i hope it turns out fun ...idk though bc it just seems like it will be pretty boring... i would rather be laying out my the ocean and getting tan... lol

happy st patrick’s day to you as well!! did you wear your green!? henri, i understand your perspective on the "friends" thing. now totally random  if you look at all my phusebox the entries [remarks included] , i tend to have a split personality. the blog entries in myphusebox are usually very random and light hearted with lots of attempts to get a laugh while interjecting snide and sarcastic comments, HOWEVER, when i'm here in henri's “anti_hero worldâ€, i become deeper and more dignified and refined, it’s cool to conversate on a higher level. [pfft! like OMG!!! rofl gurlz so crazy i told her to stfu. :P i <3 my nu hair do u? hehe it’s prpl! :D wut u wunt 2 do tomm]

I read the whole thing though. It was very well said. It's like the people that have 600 friends and you know they can't possibly have 600 friends all on PhuseBox. I doubt anyone is going to think ill of you if you don't have very many friends...so I totally agree on that point. Wait, I think I agree with it all. There's no point in adding someone if you're not going to talk to them. =)
