So here's some scripture that has stumped me this past week! I've already asked around, but it's your chance to respond. I think I've been told the right answer but look for yourself!
In Acts 2:34 it says, For David himself never ascended into heaven, yet he said, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet. When it says The Lord said to my Lord, what does that mean? There's two separate Lord's mentioned, and in this case Peter is preaching to a crowd after Jesus had ascended into heaven! Hey Michael. Just thought I could be of some help.
The NIV study bible explains it that "My Lord" (God) said to "My Lord" (The son of David, the Messiah).
According to Peter, David referred to his descendent Jesus with uncommon respect because he knew through the Spirit of His deity.
So conclusion: The Father was indeed speaking to the Son, Jesus Christ. Lord and Lord... I guess it was a little trinity party lol.

David was prophesying about God telling Jesus to sit
at his right hand until God had fully judged Jesus' enemies. He is saying
that David said this before he had died. Telling the crowd it was a
prophecy. God and Jesus is both God.
