forgive me if i seem so vague
but these are words about yesterday
how the time ticked by
and didn't seem to fly
no one seemed to care at all
or even bat their open eye..

all alone in this cell of silence....
whispering to myself

assuring me that everything's alright
i'm lost here without you..
all who knew me before
i walked out the door
and left to find a new horizon
that's leaving me so unsure

i pray to God you find me....
and i'm no different than i was before..
