for the next two weeks ill be an only child

you all must keep me etertained here becuase iv never been an only child and dont think ill take very well to not having someone to bug at all times

yesterday they delevered all the household goods to dads new apartment and we unpacked those for bout 3 hours and then sset up all the stuff for the rest of the day

we took heather and teresa to the airport today so they could fly back home. heather lost her cell phone.... yeah give a 10 yr old a brand new rasor and she loses it imagine that.

tomorrow were going to the lake at 8 and my slalom skiing training will begin. imagine a boat and only 2 adults and 1 me that means lots of water time for milly!

well ill be around so ttyl kiddos

so when your in tx and its 95 degrees and the AC goes out you leave

yeah our AC in out temp house died so they moved us into a different one with a net connection and bigger beds and green fuzzy bath mats

friday we go and set up in the new apartment and the dsl will get installed then too.

saturday we drive to dallas to get heather and teresa on a flight to SanAntonio. then its just me and dad for the next 2 weeks! well have blast cause we are so much alike. pops always tells dad that im the child dad deserved. lol its great i love being like him

went boating today

its just not the same here

the water is like 85 degrees though

it was like 94 degrees today

im used to freezing in the boat

but not here

it doesnt work that way in texas

there are wild cactuses

and lots of dead grass

in 6 days we move out of temp housing

and into dads apartment

hey you guys

dads change of command was neat today. he has his own squadron which is pretty awesome. its the 82nd medical group. at the actualy ceremony we got escorted in and then got to flowers.then at the reception we got to stand in the recieving line with dad and elle and shake hands with everyperson that came to the thing. that was kinda boring but the thing in general was really cool. it was weird to actually kind of feel like a realy military brat/kid.

so dad has an apartment and were moving in june 1. so then i have no idea what my internet situation will be. ill get to help dad move in though which will be fun. itll suck though cause the apartments arent on or even near base so there will be nothing to do.  o well

so im here in base housing

we dont have a net connection.... but someone in the permanent houing behind us hes wi-fi

so yes im stealing internet on a AFB i have a feeling dad could get in major trouble for this.....but he told me to

its weird here in north texas causee it looks just like kansas. its all dried up.

i found out that i have actually been here before when i was little and dad has just joined the AF and he was in basic. this base (sheppard) as a LOT of kids that are going through basic and such. half of the base is dorms.it also has a lot of ghetto kids. its weird to see people walking around base (after dark) that look like they came straigh from the halls of my school when im used to seeing the people on base being like 30 years or older and always in BDUs no matter what time of day.

after we got here yesterday we went and drove around the town and its kinda rundown. its and old town and is kinda ghetto. thats why finding dad is gonn have to pay a butt load for apartments.

im at a fairfield inn in in topeka kansas

i was talking to daddy today and he told me that since were staying in temperory housing on base there will be either dial-up or no internet connection at all. im afraid for my life.

he told me that when the rest of the sisters leave that he may just take me to the base library everyday and let me net all day long there,but still that would mean no late night conversations

i think i need to find some kids to hang out with on base cause im gonna be all alone and that will be very boring and bases are full of kids

i think i would die if didint get to talk to you all for the next 4 weeks, but i promise i will be here one way or another

i dont want to leave minnesota

its perfect up here i never knew that i would fall in love with a town called backus but i have

being on the water everyday either skiing tubing or fishing whats not to love

the best part though is that the fishing is awesome. yesterday we caught upwards of 15 northerns and there were like 4 or 5 that were over 20 inches. one that made it to the side but never got in the boat (but bent the mess out of the spinner) was at least 30 inches.  plus i can now take what i catch and make it cookable

and then there is the skiing and tubing. on any given day we get sanborn to ourselves and have a lake that is glass. skiing on water that doesnt have a single ripple in it is awesome. tubing with dad pulling is one of the most awesome things ever. its never boring and still fun when you get thrown and get your arm caught in the cover and have a 5 inch bruise from it.

 i think im going to transplant all my friends (and my church) up here so i can live a perfect life. 

the computer is going up so i guess ill talk to you all wednesday when im in the 95+ heat of wichita falls texas

i caught a northern pike today, not that you guys know what that is or even care

last night me and erin sat and talked about band and next year for about 3 hours

i think i should lead a OHS band revolution and make it into what everyone wants it to be cause we could do it

im head dm wow i still cant accept that i am marching band god (as waters like to call the DM) i cant imagine that i will be on the podium at every practice. iv wanted to be a dm since i was in the 6th grade and went to a competition with danielle. iv finally gotten to where i wanted to be and i still cant believe it. it makes me want to burst with excitement.(which i will probabbly do upon occasion) one hting that i want for myself is to be more than a conductor for the band. i want to be a LEADER. i want to be someone who is worthy of the respect of my classmates, and i want to help my band become everything that it can be..... * stops self*

elle has friends here so they went to Itasca (headwaters of the Mississippi) and we went and found 2 caches and set one out at erin lake

got back out on the lake yesterday and actually got to get in

its getting warmer here

the high on sunday is 91 and for MN thats crazy, but im looking forward to it

well we have 5 more days here (we head out monday) then its off to hot hot texas :-( (the high the day we get there is like 96°

so im sitting on the floor in the den and playing cards with my little sisters

this morning i got up and went kayaking on big portage and wow it was gorgeous!! the lake was perfect glass and it was an amazing paddle. we went all the way to the place where big portage turns into deep portage (thats a long way) and back. we saw 2 bald eagles and mommy loon with babies on her back and daddy loon was ready and waiting to ward us off

scince then iv been outside cleaning the yard or sticks and stobs and rotten wood all afternoon long .....

if youve ever wondered how many sticks there are in the floor of a forest i think i can tell you cause the only differesnce between the forest floor and the "yard" that i v benn cleaning is that a vast majority of the trees ave been taken out

yesterday we kept fish and caught quite a few nice perch and bluegill and even a rock bass that i caught we kept. when we got home i got the pleasure of learning how to flilet a fish!! i am now perfectly capable of catching a fish and then turning him into something that can be eaten. it was kinda gross to watch but when i did it it was somehow not that bad.

mmm well its been a bit to cold up here to get in the water but tomorrow we should be able to get back in the lake which is good. OOH yesterday we placed a cache that we made near the boat launch into our favorite lake (sanborn)

ok well its been long post that im sure that none of you ar reading so ill stop now

btw its like 4 and a half weeks till band stuff starts up. band kids, are you excited yet??

went geocaching for the first time yesterday and found all 4 that we set out to find

then we went to walmart and bought the stuff to make 3 caches of our own

im in the beautiful sate of minnesota where everywhere you look its nothing but paradise

but only two things would make it better...all my friends from the boro and my youth group

i think one year i will have to invite like tons and tons of people up and have them hang out all summer long up here

i miss aim but know that if i download it onto this computer that i will never get off and it will ruine the slight detachment from the world that i achieve while in MN....but i really miss the people that i talk to on it

well tomorrow the high is a brisk 65 so not even a wet suit will make the water bearable for my little TN body so i think we are heading to Itasca state park (where the headwaters of the Mississippi riveris) and then to the forest history center/live turn of the century logging camp

while up north were also going to do a bit of geocaching. its something that me and erin found out about a few months ago through some a friend and we thought would be a great thing ot o so while with dad. so were doing it weve got 3 caches in the area of where were gonna be tomorrow so i guess we will see what happens!!

when im in minnesota i do more in one day than most people do all week

so today i watched the rain and the lightning out the giant wondow in the front of the house and watched and thought and watched and thought

its so beautiful up here

it makes you go WOW God Your totally the bomb!!!

i also put a grill together and put up some shelving in the laundry room

tomorrow ill be back on the lake if the weather allows

i finally got ot go boating this morning and it was fabulous

the flight up was good except the baby sitting next to erin with the "happy scream" lol o well

im gonna eat and then go fishing you guys has fun in the boro

ok so iv spent the past 20 mins trying ot get to this site becuase it seems that my computer is fixing to die

well tonight is the youth "lock-in"  and its gonna be a blast

then were leaving the boro at 6 so we can be at the airport where we fly out at 8

then we will be driving from chicago to backus minnesota, the coolest place in the world

while were there i tend to take a break from the net so youll only hear from me maybe a few times over the next 3 weeks

6 weeks with no friends

i love dad alot but its crazy to go that long with no teens beside erin

tomorrow is my last day in the boro and ill spend all night with my youth kids
