Ok, so, I apparantly never knew what rock was. My idea of rock is that no acoustic guitars were allowed and at least one of the guitars had a distortion setting at all times. So, I actually like hard rock. Now I must endevour to find Christian hard rock bands. Any suggestions?

Just a few suggestions... Blindside is Awesome especially the Silence cd, Flyleaf, Day of Fire, Dead Poetic, Project 86, P.O.D, Skillet - best cd is Collide,Pillar (mix of rock with raplike lyrics), Disciple, Anberlin, Emery, Underoath, Demon Hunter. But it also depends on how hard you want it becuase people define "rock" many different ways

why go after something labeled "christian" hard rock music? who decided to label it that?

Someone asked me today if Switchfoot was heavy metal... I was confused and then told them that they were more like hard rock.
