Can anyone tell me why my phone is sending tons of the same image? I mean my friend Brittany is gorgeous, but I don't think she would want her face in my photobox like 100 times...haha, anyone know?

So I just started working out again, and my arms feel like wet noodle...and I don't exaggerate. I don't think I have lifted weights in about a year and a half. Although I am in pain, I don't say that to draw attention to myself, but to say that I have seen a huge correlation between me exercising daily and being in/growing in the word. Not to say that growth doesn't happen when we are not working out, but it says that we are to honor him in our bodies, and that means exercising and eating right...only putting things of worth into our bodies, just as we have been called to do in our spirit. I think there is something also about routine that pulls us into a daily communion with God. That's not to say that our time with Him becomes routine...far from it...because in routine, just like when we adhere to a monetary budget, we find that there was lots of free time that we were using to accomplish absolutely nothing. I know God is calling us into a deeper time with Him to worship him with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and if any part of this equation is lacking, there is no fullness in Him. Its not something I have succeeded at, actually, it's not something I am even good at, but I think it is important for us to encourage each other in spiritual and physical health.

I guess I didn't provide much information in my last post. I got an internship at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Ga. I am going to be helping out with the lights and scenery part of the production team from the end of may through the end of july. I think they also said that we will be installing the lighting system for their new Brown's Bridge campus. They have a really cool way of doing things. Thanks for all your prayers.

Wow, God really showed up last night, didn't He? Thanks for all the encouraging comments and excitement, but God really just kept opening doors and was ever faithful throughout the whole process of bringing us into Him. It was so amazing to see you guys lifting Him up and seeing the joy that we have in Him expressed through our praise. I am psyched about oneweekend, and I look forward to God doing big things in our lives and in His kingdom. If you have pictures of last night, please post them, I would love to have them.

On the techy side, the actual recording part went really well and sounds good. We are starting post production on it soon and hopefully will have the skeleton of the project done within the next couple of weeks. For those of you who saw the cameras moving around (eight of them to be exact), we are also making some sorta of DVD of the night, but we are not sure if it will be released or when (there were 14 DV tapes that we have to edit down, so wes will be busy for a while), but its still cool nonetheless. I have seen God moving so mightily through our group over the last several months, and my prayer is that we would literally be history makers/changers to set our generation on a Godward path. Don't ever forget that our God is the I AM...there is no other, and there is nothing that He cannot do, even through a single person. Love God, Love truth, love the Word, live At All Cost

Ha, I thought it was funny that there was a shirt that said that at the concert tonight. I would have gotten it if it didn't go against everything I stand for...and wasn't 40 bucks. But the show was amazing as expected...you can now all be envious...amina was great too. there is just so much emotion tied to their expression that they seem to fade and it becomes personal...worship time even...something about not being able to understand a word he is saying is so freeing...im tired...

Yours is the Kingdom and the power
and the glory forever is Yours
heaven and earth bow down at the wonder of Your name
Heave is open, death is broken
and the glory forever is Yours
nothing can over come the power of your name

King above kings, all the universe will sing
Everlasting God, You are wonderful
You are Wonderful

the shout of the earth will be Your praise
God forever, and the light unto all will be
Your wonderful name
for the glory, Lord, is Yours
God forever, the glory, Lord, is Yours

I won't lie...the past while has just felt...off. It was like my head and heart weren't communicating. Tonight, Anna invited me to a worship service at Johnson's Ferry led by Aaron Keyes. I had heard of him, but I had never actually heard him...wow, what an amazing night. The spirit was really moving and I could just feel God pulling me back into His heart and whispering His love into my ear. Aaron's knowledge of the word and the way the whole thing flowed was great, because it was truly not distracting, but totally free at the same time. They had three separate stations set up in the room; one for communion -- for remembering and thanking God for his faithfulness; a second table had tons of candles -- so that you could pray over people, nations, or whatever God put on your heart and light a candle as a symbol of lifting up the prayer to God; and lastly they had a bunch of stones in a basket, and it was all about surrendering, using the stones as a symbol for sin or idols in our lives, and throwing it into a well that they had set up. The whole night just revolved around surrender in every way, and God really moved through Aaron and wow...I am just so pumped. I don't know what else to say, but God is so faithful even when we are so faithless. He is always there...never changing...whispering His love into our ears.

This was taken from my best friend's xanga (i know, i know)

I am in awe of Jesus' patience with me. He is so totally other from me, so much bigger, and better. Better isn't even the right word because it implies a scale on which we can move up. I can never work up to his level. He's just so different from us in the best way possible. I can't believe His patience. And yet, I know what it is to be caught up and "fallen" for someone. That it doesn't matter what they may do, it just doesn't matter. You think you're angry and have your right to be frustrated. But one subtle smile and your heart melts and it's just all worth it.

To know that Jesus wants my heart, is pursuing and is drawn to me. It's just astounding. I can only continually say, "Rescue me into You and overcome me. You wash over me and flood my defenses. Make me more and more into a lover and knower of You."

Everytime I read his journal, it's just like the breath of God is whispering his love into my ear...if you want to read more of his stuff... Here is Anthony's Journal

The youth retreat was great. It was a lot of fun being able to hang out with the kids and get to know more of their names, because I really haven't been able to so far. I am so excited about being able to devote more time to just being around the youth. More to come...
