I've seen sermon illustrations from Austin Powers clips, My Cousin Vinnie clips, and Gladiator clips. I've personally used Star Wars, The Seven Samurai, Saved!, and Billy Joel songs among other things. South Park is perfectly alright. Just make sure that it clearly exemplify's what you're wanting to say.
